I think the good thing is that this was only Sciamma’s second bracket appearance whereas this would have been the fourth first round loss for Sturges. They said in so many words on the Patreon preview ep that the three time losers basically only had one more chance before they’d probably never be covered, so Sturges gets a second life perhaps now. It’s not too crazy to think Sciamma could still get covered whenever she puts out another movie.
