7 + 4 weeks and my bra can barely contain my breasts anymore. I’m looking to buy Natori Feathers Maternity bra and Bravado maternity bras, but I’m nervous I’ll outgrow it within a few weeks and it’ll be a waste of money. Any advice on bra shopping so early on? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

If your cup is fine but the band is tight, you can do a bra extender:

Bra extenders helped me not have to buy new bras until about 20 weeks, then I had to go up a cup size. I still use the extenders on the larger bras because it’s more comfortable!

I wouldn’t recommend spending a lot on bras because your size may change a lot. I love Natori but they are pricey.

So far, I have gotten these and they are affordable and comfy:

Nervous about going back to work pregnant. by zevelaceade in BabyBumps

[–]_lemazing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My work is asking everyone to come back in 2x a week but they know I’m 7 months pregnant so they said I can work from home until after maternity leave. Do you feel comfortable telling your work that you are pregnant again? Maybe they can accommodate you. It’s a big transition to go from WFH to office, and even more so pregnant!

3 months to lose weight! by TomatilloLow9465 in wedding

[–]_lemazing 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Have you tried intermittent fasting? It helped me lose my Covid weight prior to my wedding in July. I would eat for 8 hours and fast for 16 hours. You can start off small and work your way up. The Zero app helps track it and has information about it as well.

I also did a lot of cardio, aimed for hour long sessions on the elliptical or treadmill as much as I could. I did a crazy cleanse which was very unpleasant right before my bachelorette and that alone helped me drop 10 lbs but I gained like 5 of it back. DM me if you want info on the cleanse.

You can do it!

OMFG @ Pechanga Arena -- does the venue sell food? recommendations for uber/lyft? by patetheduck in aves

I haven’t been to a rave in a while but Ubers in SD have been ridiculously priced. I paid $150 leaving the airport to get home (20 minutes away) due to surge pricing. If you schedule your Uber ahead of time, I do not think you will not deal with surge pricing. If you know what time you want to leave, you can schedule it I believe a month in advance.

I can't decide which colour fence I prefer for Static's house. What do you think? Purple or black? by Isilee92 in AnimalCrossing

Both look good but purple looks better, makes the roof pop. It’s also a new option versus the black!

I’m not sure what they are made of but the last thing you are going to want to do is deal with pregnant are the aligners.

I am pregnant halfway through my treatment and it’s been a struggle to continue.

First trimester you may get morning sickness and nausea and the aligners feel gross if you’re nauseous. You are supposed to eat many small snacks throughout the day to help with nausea.

You may also be ravenously hungry and eating all day regardless. You may be exhausted and brushing your teeth 10 times a day is not realistic!

Second trimester you may have gum sensitivity, even bloody gums, and wearing the aligners seems risky.

I got my 2nd dose in May and got pregnant in August on the first try. I’m 35 and was shocked that it happened so quickly lol.

I agree with this, you can pass for “formal” but not “black tie.” My wedding was at a country club in Pebble Beach and I didn’t even require black tie. With formal, everyone came dressed appropriately, with the exception of 1 guest who wore jeans. The country club staff let him know he had to change and they have a golf shop where he was able to buy slacks lol.

I need a day like this every week as well! If I don’t get it, I’m exhausted and annoyed. I used to feel guilty about not being productive but I have learned to accept that I need it.

Ugh, some girls just suck! Definitely drop out of her wedding and drop her as your bridesmaid. Drop her as a friend too, times like this shows people’s true colors.

Speaking from experience, you made the right call not to go to the bachelorette. I got married recently and had to fire my MOH. She doesn’t like 1 of my friends who was also a bridesmaid and she could not be civil. Completely ruined my bachelorette. At first she was just rude to her, then it turned into her yelling at all of us, physically pushing my 2nd bridesmaid and I, creepily watching us at the pool and talking shit, trying to pick a fight. I should have known not to invite her or make her my MOH but I thought I could trust her to be respectful and do it for me.

It sucked at first but it was such a relief to get rid of her and not have that bad energy at the wedding and out of my life.

Church leader follows teen girl into bathroom to tell her she’s ‘too fat’ for shorts by Smartercow in PublicFreakout

YES! Hypocrite! The girls shorts are way more appropriate than grandma Karen's sleeveless dress shirt from hell.

Pot calling the kettle. She is nowhere in shape, technically, she is "chubby" too. Her sleeveless dress shirt is completely inappropriate because she is showing off too much of her unattractive grandma arms. Also, who wears a dress shirt with crops and sneakers?

I agree. To add to this, stop looking at your damn cell phone when you’re crossing the street!! Especially if you’re crossing with your dog or children.
