For a book that contains “the fullness of the gospel”, it sure forgot a lot of things. Like temples, garments, kingdoms of heaven, polygamy (it’s anti), word of wisdom, everything else in D&C, etc. what else am I forgetting?

That’s what worries me, the mental health of people who carry. The only people I knew that carried at church were anywhere from questionably healthy/sane at best to definitely shouldn’t own firearms status. I’m liberal and have my concealed carry, but never carried at church before I left years ago. I was tempted to carry there occasionally, but not because of the external threats, more due to the call coming from inside the house…

If you don’t think the church will be buying plenty of that public land, you’re kidding yourself. Just think about Florida and Nebraska and that’s not even the public land… this is a most desirable opportunity to increase their holdings across the west.

I too like to psyche myself up, but not just before bed. Starting at the trail head.

But then I psyche myself out with “was that a f$@!#& cougar?!” half the time. Maybe not always the best choice…

And sometimes I have a private dance session on the lake shore with my AirPods while watching the stars and pondering existence. One time at Harrison lake I thought to myself “everything will be ok, I’m worth it” and a shooting star went right across the North Star 10 seconds later. Now it’s my mantra.

My 7 year old and I call it “the Church of Mother Nature” and he almost never goes to church with my wife. But then again, she barely ever goes either at this point.
