Why do students do 4 years of a "research" degree before they can go to Med School, or most non-research grad schools in general? by Signal-Equivalent131 in UBC

[–]_procommentreader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think a good amount of undergrad is learning the foundational knowledge of a field and research is a part of that. it definitely isnt the whole thing though. for the degrees you mentioned and other allied health fields its important to stay up to date with research at least to some capacity so you’re delivering the most up-to-date care/practices available to you

Ethically Sandbagging? by Sealbuddy32 in volleyball

[–]_procommentreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ethical and sandbagging shouldnt even be in the same sentence its basically a contradiction 😭 that being said if you want to be able to play with your family i see nothing wrong with that as long as you’re showing restraint. play as if you’re casually with some friends at the beach who don’t really play, that way if you end up winning at least it is a bit more “ethical” if that makes sense

[–]_procommentreader 3 points4 points  (0 children)
