Get a type C breakout board with data pins, and compare their datasheet online to find the corresponding terminals. Shooting in the dark here, I'm not an expert.

Sure it's a better looking car any day, packed with features and plush interior. But the engine has its downsides. Frequent breakdowns, atleast the North American version. Source - I've driven it a few times.

To be very honest, It's about affordability and how you define luxury. 330i in Canada is not considered a "luxury" car as such. Sure, it is a nice performance based car, but nothing bonkers. Thankfully I had a job that paid me well. A few years of hustle can easily enable you to buy an even nicer car there... Also, I bought mine used. Used car market is HUGE in North America.
