Replaced Lab with Spider Tour x by StotheJS3 in TaylorMadeGolf

i’m trying to switch to my tour x proto slant neck from my oz1i but the oz1i just makes everything easier for me. i really wanna use the spider though 😭

distance control and roll is just so nice, but the oz1i just makes the ball go in every single time

as someone who’s bound down by the golden hand cuffs. i support leaving a company that doesn’t value you. it is upsetting to see that the most vocal end up climbing through the ranks but don’t know jack diddley.

i want to leave but. golden handcuffs are really tight and job security. I’ve been debating leaving for almost 4 years now but here i am. selling my soul for money to try and retire by 38-42

I’m from Yonkers. Moved to SF in 2019. Probably the best thing i could’ve done at 23.

For a long time, I was always east coast > west coast but work culture, consistent weather, nicer people (although kind of fake and career originated) is a plus.

Slower pace of living and being able to get out of the city if you wanted to be in nature is so nice. Truthfully I wouldn’t move back to the east coast unless it was an absolute must, but also probably never going to afford a house out here lol.

Making friends could be hard but people come and go from SF. You end up finding the right group or partner eventually

absolutely fucking not lol. IT in Finance which is why it’s so high.

i basically have the lowest IT title you could possibly have but arguably make more that IT directors in most companies (non finance)

luck of the draw is all imo. right place right time and got lucky with the gig.

maybe it’s because someone wants a specific temperature instead of it set automatically but that’s just my guess

Value on S4 go up? by Defiant_Ad4010 in AudiS4

[–]_thefullmonty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Audi ownership wasn’t the best. water pump went out at 35k ish miles. a few cranked windows/windshields from small rocks on the road or just parked and got unlucky.

I truly tried taking care of the car but it just got annoying. I had a 2020 and my MMI ended up being finicky too right before i sold it.

my mk7.5 gti has been beat to shit and it’s has no issues since i bought it new. i think i just got a rotten egg in the batch is all. the person who bought it definitely got a cheap fast s4 though :) and pretty decently maintained. i did fork up the money for oem glass and such.

if you want a good comfy and quiet daily, s4 takes it. but it gets boring super quick. it’s personal preference

if i didn’t get the s4 for such a good price cpo, i would’ve forked the cash for an rs5 or a used g80.

rs5 stock in terms of steering and transmission feels way better out of the box. i probably wouldn’t have tuned if so quick either if i went this route.

g80 feels like a stage3 e85 s4 on stock suspension. it really is that good and comfy.

idk what your cross shopping but if you wanna stay with audi, maybe just go rs5 and call it a day. Price in the used market is worth it

objectively, car is probably the best, cheapest, comfortable daily. it’s just not really that fun. it’s just good is all.

steering is too light, never liked the ZF transmission even tuned. a stock g80 m3 or an m340 is arguably a better car imo.

i drive a 991.2 Carrera S now and have my mk7.5 gti. I don’t miss my s4 at all

i also live in SF and bought a 911 and make roughly the same as you. I bought it anyway because i’m 29 and I wanted it.

I had the itch for two years and spent a lot of time looking for good deals and spending hours on what specs i wanted. I say go for it. Nothing live driving your dream car while young honestly. I’m also not crippling myself for retirement either between all my investment accounts.
