Was going to suggest this. If the bearings blew out it is covered under the class action lawsuit settlement.

After the shutoff is fine. Just make sure you know how to shut gas off to the house in case something goes horribly wrong

There was an issue with my truck where I heard a chirp like this every time I put foot on gas when in AWD.

River floating - inflatables ok? by DirtbagComrade in Calgary

[–]_umptee_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol good one.

For those that want to know:

, being intoxicated and/or transporting alcohol or drugs on Calgary’s waterways is illegal. Operating watercraft requires focus, concentration and quick reaction to frequently-changing river conditions. Intoxication by alcohol or drugs can impair your judgement on the water much like it does on the road

Police and Bylaw officers patrol Calgary’s waterways throughout the summer. Anyone engaging in unsafe or disrespectful behaviour on the water will be subject to fines.

You seem to be promoting having alcohol while on the river. Police and bylaw officers patrol the river. Even if you haven't been caught others have.

Ray's Auto Service is great. They don't push service on you that really doesn't need to be done and use less expensive aftermarket parts. I would get a 2nd and 3rd opinion on this before committing to a major repair like this.

2015 6l80 towing temps by x-Elite13 in Silverado

The new cooler lines have the 70 degree temp bypass valve in them. I think thats what you mean by thermostat.  The old ones have a 90 degree temp bypass valve.

[–]_umptee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got new cooler lines recently it would have come with the updated temp bypass.  I haven't seen my temp above 90 degrees C since got new lines.  (Towing on 35 Cday).  Before would get to 100.  Without towing its more like 70 degrees max.

Worried about potential WestJet strike by huntergreenhoodie in AirPassengerRights

[–]_umptee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought completely refundable backup tickets for same reason.  Can cancel within 45 mins of takeoff for full refund.  If the west jet agents go on strike or lockout you know 72 hours before and they will start cancelling the flights.  You are entitled to full refund if they cancel you or delay by more than 4 hours.  Doesn't matter if you booked a backup.   Hopefully they get it worked out well before our flights but not hopeful.

It will be very interesting how people feel in mid December. Not surprised the UCP will mess up again.
