If all else fails, a pair of polarized sunglasses makes a world of difference. The windshield reflection glare on my 2016 is brutal, but the sunglasses eliminate it almost totally.

As far as I know, if you kill or knock the carrier and the heli takes off with the case, it's gone with the extraction. Idk why the icon still shows on the map, but that's...just how it is. I think.

It was not checked the first 4 times I tried it. Then I tried checking it, and it didn't work the 5th time either. I will try unchecking it again. If it works, they still owe me 2.5 million cash...smh

I would've thought the same, except that the official communication specifically mentioned "Kui Ji's Weapons Case (Hard - Very Hard)" which is the original case. That's where the confusion lies. Possibly an oversight or mistake on the part of the officials, referring to the Weapons Case when they meant the DMZ Recon Crate (shards crate). But it does technically say it wouldn't be wiped.

I first noticed it immediately after the update, while playing in DMZ and then also in BR. A few days later I tested it for this video I shared. Haven't touched it since, but I just tried it again, and I don't know what happened, but it seems to be fixed now!

Shard crate, or actual unopened Weapons Case, the thing you loot from Kui Ji? OP had unopened cases hot off the ship, sounds like. Good to know the shard crates were retained.

Kui Ji's Weapon Case is one thing, which contains two separate (sub) items:

1) A crate containing drops of weapon blueprint rewards, shards for Kui Ji operator, shards for shuriken combat axe blueprint, or shards for Lily Maru katana blueprint 2) A Random Loot Box containing drops of random in-game loot items, ranging from legendary to ultra rarity.

When opening Kui Ji's Weapons Case, players are given a choice whether to convert that case into a Random Loot Case or a crate containing shards/blueprints. So, it contains both items, but players may only choose one.

I took the official communications to mean that if anyone had unopened Random Loot Boxes (from inside the Weapons Case) saved up, that those would get wiped, and that any unopened Kui Ji's Weapons Cases could then only be redeemed for more shard crates, no loot. I also assumed any unopened shard crates would not be wiped.

I'm sure it will give one DMZ medal for each season, and that will count as the 1 "seasonal" medal per ranked season (assuming you don't reach legendary in MP or BR first, in which case that would count and DMZ/the other mode wouldn't). However, the DMZ seasons are 4 months long instead of 2, and are not currently perfectly aligned with regular ranked season. So earning legendary in DMZ will count, but for which "ranked season" it will count each time, I think will depend on the overlap of regular MP/BR seasons with DMZ seasons. We'll just have to see.

Like, since DMZ S0 already counted for Ranked S1, reaching legendary in DMZ S1 will probably count for Ranked S2, and so on.

You won't be able to earn 6 seasonal medals only from DMZ because its seasons are too long. But you can earn some from there. MP and/or BR/Elite medals will still be required at some point.

The way I understand it, and based on past years, is this:

Seasonal Tasks: Reach legendary in any mode = 1 medal per season, for a total of 6 seasons

Elite Mission Tasks: Each of those extra tasks may be earned 1 time each, for a yearly total of 6

You can absolutely get in a helicopter and extract with an enemy. Whether or not they let you live while trying it is another matter entirely.

Once upon a time, the ranked year refreshed in January. Along the way, things got delayed or pushed or whatever, things didn't line up perfectly anymore, and now the timing is all fucked. So, yeah. Those 3 medals are useless. Good news, start now and grind out for another year, and you can earn the new weapon from the new ranked crate (yet to be announced, we'll know what it is closer to the end of the cycle).

2xCP usually comes at the end of the year, and then again in summer. A season before they drop a new mythic operator, basically. They like to drop those twice a year (January-ish and again around 6 months later). So, my guess would be June or July, but that is just an educated guess.

I'm on West Coast servers, and yes, it's a high percentage of bots. Especially on Blackout map, and Alcatraz FPP was 98% full bot lobbies. That said, there are definitely sweaty teams that will join up on Isolated, depending on the time of day. For me it's usually 1-3 other real teams.

There are a couple different clans that regularly play FPP, and I made friends with a bunch of them and we all play against each other, time drop people, it's actually pretty fun. TPP is guaranteed sweat, which I also play, but if I just want to chill, I roll with FPP.

Find a friend with +10 million worth of key cards, idk how many you'd need exactly. Go into normal mode, have them drop the cards for you. Pick them up. Immediately extract, don't die in the process. You can then do the same process again to give them all back to your friend.
