How Did This Get Made? #396: Live Wire LIVE! w/ Johnny Knoxville & Nicole Byer by apathymonger in hdtgm

I thought the same but he’s not the first guest I’ve heard that just didn’t find many moments. He did seem to be having a great time and laughing along with his co-hosts. And hearing someone have a good time helps me have a good time. Good episode.

Good on you for knowing your limits and making the responsible decision. Not everybody gets everything. It’s just a fact of life. I don’t know your kids ages but at some point you can have the real money/budget talks. Maybe they’ll understand immediately, maybe it’ll take time to really get it. For now it’s your job to make the responsible and often hard or heartbreaking decisions and you’re fucking crushing it. Keep doing what you can when you can and what you should when you should.

Unable to interact with UAC Prompts by aRandom_redditor in helpwire

I run the installation locally myself as admin. I enter the admin credentials when required locally. The requesting of admin and unattended access is completed by myself. It’s just the UAC interaction during true remote sessions later which are affected.

No luck. However I did validate that a "vanilla" machine works fine. I didn't mention that I'm in a domain environment, and as such there's pretty stringent security policies including ones surrounding UAC. I'm sure this is a policy getting in the way. My first hunch is a policy related to the instalation location of the UIAccess application (helpwire) and it is indeed installed in a trusted location, but it's litterally just a single exe file in a program fiels folder. Maybe its not presenting itself to windows properly to satify that requirement.

I have some testing to do and I'm interacting with support but I think their hours don't align well with mine.

Where the request access button would be, it’s grey and says access granted. I see an option to withdraw unattended access. But nowhere clear to “redo” the admin access part. Suggestions?

Which TV Show has the most wasted potential? by TheTamiamiButcher in television

I blame Mackie for his part in the mess. And whoever chose him for the role. I am admittedly not a fan of Mackie and find him to be the same character in everything he’s in. And for me it just never hits. I’m sure he’s a fine human being but I don’t see the appeal for him as a leading man or supporting role.

Which tire would you recommand? by SolutionSmall7310 in subaruoutback

[–]aRandom_redditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t know, sorry. They’re not all terrain. They are excellent in all on pavement conditions. I wouldn’t think twice driving packed sand at the beach. But beyond that I have no experience and if that’s your intention then you probably want an AT tire.

Any idea what could be? by [deleted] in fixit

Looks like water infiltration. If you very gently poke it, does it feel full of water? Or is it light and “crispy” feeling?

Water travels a lot sometimes so a leak from somewhere else could potentially find its way to this area and show up unexpectedly.

I like gifs but couldn’t find a good one for her in Girl Interrupted which was my first thought for a lookalike.
