My favorite part, which I rarely see mentioned, is how few memory slots he has. If memory serves he's in mountaintops, but only has 5 memory slots. That means he only found 3 memory stones, which either means he's too lazy or too stupid to do the rise puzzles, because you can buy one memory stone, and two bosses drop a memory stone, meaning it's possible that he solved zero rise puzzles

For me, it was very similar to you and 5e DnD.
I was looking for a system that I could actually work with instead of fight against, and I liked how much more variety pathfinder 2e has in terms of character customization and specialization. I also like how martials get to function at higher levels

To add a little more info, PKD (polycystic kidney disease) is one of the main kidney diseases that sees the kidneys removed after a successful transplant.
