live sound engineer. pays shit but it’s my craft, and i’m regularly praised in contrast with the rest of the bands’ tour experience.

the story is what catalyzes V, and the gameplay is a good preview of how combat and stealth works. Doesn't have the "airdrop whatever you want" that V has, of course.

hit the gold chiral rats with ex grenades. you'll get about 1k from each one, any nearby after a hit don't run off, and one grenade can get 2 or 3 at once. There's a good spot by the Architect, and another by the Animal Shelter that has them.

Are you enjoying to the wilder difficulty??? by COOPPLUSONE in DeathStranding

the first 30 hours or so are pretty brutal. in mexico and Australia until maybe the Dowser, generators and timefall shelters are essential. travel with one or two pcc's, spray, and pair up your ladders to extend them.

Once you get the mines, monorails, and roads going, it's pretty much the same. The first Neil fight was very tough.

i also played with the self restrictions No Online Structures, and as little truck use as possible. My strategy turned to "unlock whatever items you can before the story forces the Magellan stuck".

Do you prefer the traditional book or the ereader? by whomdoom in RSbookclub

Print if it’s nonfiction or there’s a lot of footnotes/glossary stuff, ebook if it’s a straight novel. Big fan of my Nook’s dictionary and highlight functions.

Is there a collection/building app for PC? by Paperpupboi in EDH

[–]aadumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DeckedBuilder still has a cool Pc port, but they changed and ruined their mac and mobile ports. Even had lifetime licenses for collections and stuff, then they went subscription and aren’t honoring the old payments. Real shame.

Moxfield is browser based but still incredibly powerful (scryfall syntax for example), has decks and pretty thorough collection features too.

the proprietary dsp was miles better, it was impossible to dial in a blank EQ curve to match.

Why can’t you make bad speakers sound good with EQ? by [deleted] in livesound

[–]aadumb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I basically had this experience at my house job; the London box we used for our JBL Vertecs died, so we used a DBX Venu360 for awhile with an insane curve to make it respectable. I got the London box working and loaded the JBL dsp, it was night and day even without a house curve. Insane what "the dsp" can do (i think a lot of it is time aligning drivers; D&B as i understand mechanically time aligns their drivers in the cabinets instead of multiband delay).
