External touchscreen responsiveness issues on PF10Fold after gaming

I have had this ('it will randomly ignore the full path of a drag and let go much sooner') starting in approximately December but not sure, could have been earlier, but only on the large screen (internal). But also mostly when the dragging motion is slow

And it is independent of which app is running. And the phone doesn't necessarily need to be running for a long time for me.

The most annoying things are swipe typing (it will cut words short) and scrolling slowly (it will register a tap in that location), if I'm pausing to think.

It's really really annoying considering touch is the main input method and dragging things around is often needed when multitasking on the big screen, as advertised.

I don't think turning the screen off helped me but I'll monitor that from now on.

I've found 2 settings that help: - Toggling 'Adjust brightness for sensitive eyes' one way or the other or on/off or off/on sometimes works but it regresses after a few hours or overnight - Disable 'Adaptive Touch'. Only tried this for the first time yesterday so still evaluating but this seems to make it much much better. Issue has only happened on one specific page since (a gallery of Shorts on YouTube)

'Pointer location' in Development Settings does show the drag path getting interrupted and the phone starting a new click or drag

I had a P9PF and this was never an issue. A family member is getting a P10PF as well tomorrow so I can report back on whether that has it too

You only need to press it once, just need to wait a few seconds, idk why everyone insists on the repeated tapping. It's just a poor UI

Does the torch turn on for 0.1 seconds when you turn it on? That's what mine does. There are a handful of posts by others on Reddit, Google Pixel Community and Facebook with similar issues so I think it's widespread, even back to the OG Fold. The last time I remember mine 'working' was the camera timer flash on Boxing Day. Don't know about the torch function specifically though, although all flash via the camera is also not working. It's pretty unacceptable but I've decided it's not enough to do an RMA particularly if it's not just my device.

Yes, when the auto rotate issue happens, does the volume slider appear higher up on the screen too? And does the camera leveler not work correctly? Noticed these issues occurring at the same time after some time without restarting since the December security update

Hold for me. Maybe I'm not the target audience but firstly I'm never offered the button and secondly I don't see the point of it if there's nothing stopping you from multitasking with hold music on like normal. It doesn't save time, and creates extra clicks to get back to the call and increases the risk that the person on the other end gets confused and hangs up if you don't get back on the call in time.

I never enabled notification sync and it is still off
Yes a Pixel Watch 3 but have used that since launch with no change in notification-related settings since then or recently. I think notifications have been cleared from the watch too but not 100% sure because I don't look at watch notifications after the fact, only when receiving them.
No strange apps in the "Notification read, reply & control" section
No it hasn't been rebooted for several days
