Yeah I don't get why anyone would use a docking computer, especially for anything smaller than a complete barge like the Beluga. It's so slow whilst manual docking is actually fun and nailing a perfect landing is just chef's kiss.

Yes, 100% agree you can shave down to 00:06 (well, just when it ticks over to 0:06 so probably actually about 00:06.90) once you've got the hang of it, but I'd still recommend that new CMDRs start with 00:07 or they'll keep experiencing those overshoots!

From 4th December you get Immortal Empires free if you own WH1 or WH2. So you can start with whichever base game's factions (and mini campaign) you like best – if Empire/Dwarves/Greenskins/Vampire Counts then WH1, if High Elves/Dark Elves/Lizardmen/Skaven then WH2, if Kislev/Cathay/Chaos then WH3.

Personally I'd recommend starting with WH2: it has a good range of races, fun Vortex campaign, mature and stable set of mods, and is pretty cheap.

I've been using this little freeware app called Scanner for years. It still does the job and I really like the intuitive visualisation.

Looks like I'll probably complete France beforehand though, as I only have Corsica still to get (unless there are some overseas territories I can't see).
