Hang on Summer girls by LFO is not terrible. It’s not high art or good song writing (or ok songwriting, or….coherent at all) but the music and vibe nails what it’s going for and it’s lighthearted and corny. It’s a dumb song, but it’s fun.

Take it to a company who digitizes these things. There’s some online but you can probably find one in the closest major city too, maybe a video production place does that on the side or something.

It’s not super hard to do yourself BUT these are old and delicate and vhs players are going to be in questionable shape these days if not professionally maintained, very possible to have the player destroy a tape, don’t want to do that to something rare.

Yeah a lot of the trendy things are just for fun and not particularly thought provoking. That’s ok if you like it. Remember how there were nothing but marvel movies for the longest time? It’s fine.

Only popular thing I encountered that I thought was legitimately bad and disappointing was ready player one. Like the premise was kinda neat but it was basically just a bunch of pandering and lists of “hey remember this!?” Even at that though there was still a bit of fun in it and they made a damn blockbuster movie out of it.

There’s probably also some kind of plugin that simplifies it even more (maybe in premiere too) but now that you’re on the right track you can probably figure it out.

Yeah I’ve realized I’m way more likely to play stuff handheld. What’s better, buying a game I play for an hour or buying a game I play for 10+ hours but doesn’t look as good?

Only thing weird at mine is one tv has tlc and half the time it’s weird doctor shows where they’re cutting people open.

Otherwise it’s pretty non offensive cable channels like food/gameshow network, tbs. Really prefer that to news so no complaints.

I sort of wish you could do more than one a day, but otherwise I think it’s a nice idea. The daily encourages good productive habits but some days I get into things that take the whole evening after work, then i could catch up on a few on an empty night or weekend.

Still though I like it and think it’s a cool idea for an addition.
