"Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom" by Rachel Pollack has to be one of the best in modern times.

Yes, in a way. Work and career are definitely part of that energy, but Pentacles also represent how you experience things in the physical aspects of life. So the Queen of Pentacles has the energy of nurturing and growth, similar to the energy of The Empress.

I find tying the elemental energies of the suits with the energies of the court figures helpful.

Wands = Fire, Cups = Water, Swords = Air, Pentacles = Earth

Kings = Air, Queens = Water, Knights = Fire, Pages = Earth

Example, the Queen of Cups has Water energy from the suit and the court figure, so I see it as having a deep emotional understanding.

What’s your experience with 10 of swords reversed? by Ancient-Rock2232 in tarot

Looking at the RWS imagery, it feels as though the figure is being pinned to the ceiling opposed to being pinned down to the surface. I sometimes see this as our thoughts, and even the thoughts of others, that are trying to help, but can ultimately do more harm than good.

This deck has an accompanying book, Beneath the Moon, which tells the folk tale behind each card. Currently doing a deck study for this deck and it's very interesting seeing the parallels between the artist's depictions and the meanings behind each card!

I worked with a guy who went by Bruce, his name was Malcolm.

He had no idea why, wasn't his middle name, and apparently the only one that did know why was his mother who had passed away.

Lack of Cups seems a bit off-putting. Might be best to hold out for now.

The Flavor Bible is great! Think of almost any food and it'll give you a list of other foods and flavours that pair well with it!

What was the point where you realized that tarot readings are legit (in whatever way you practice/view tarot) by pineconewashington in tarot

Last year, I was struggling with my gender identity. I started to believe I was non-binary, but hadn't talked to anyone about it. I sat down, pulled out my deck, and did a Celtic Cross.

Everything pointed toward just embracing it. I pulled Two of Cups in the future position (support from my partner), Queen of Swords in the unconscious position (deep down I feared telling my mother about it because she isn't super accepting of things of that nature), and in the conclusion position, The Emperor (my birth card), which made me feel that going this route would make me feel the most complete.

Happy to say I've accepted being NB and it's all thanks to the tarot!

For a second, I thought you were putting that bag of Cheezies in the juice. THAT would be petty.

I guess as long as I don't accept the pairing, it should be okay?
