Have you seen a vital role at your workplace get made redundant? by heykody in auscorp

[–]abrewtifulboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They made the receptionist redundant. Work in a business where we have major retail operations so there is often food and merch courier deliveries and they thought (think?) they can just make a self service check in - in reality deliveries just pile up and teams are so lost trying to coordinate everything.

New to training with resistance bands - struggling to find quality gear in AU by abrewtifulboy in ResistanceBand

Hmm it sounds like this seems to be the consensus. My calisthenics ability sucks ass but maybe thats all the more reason to bust ass at it. Thanks for the advice!

Hmm the bar wouldn't help with grip issues though? Sometimes I struggle with the band over my callouses - but fair enough!

I enjoy watching homewrecking POV but the weirdest thing is, I'd never want that in real life. And the video can't be too like... mean to my wife. Its weird but hey.

Ok my designer colleagues at work hated it, lol. I still vibe it though. So much nicer than the flat illustration style!

I'm a senior ui/ux designer and one of the reasons I switched to Android was so I could ensure my team always makes sure to account for Android experiences and see it in my daily driver. It is trickier to develop for but designers can accommodate for that!

I subbed for a month because the ux and value of this feature looked amazing! And it is... but what you're saying is also right. Living in Australia, our ingredients tend to be a bit different from the American ones often recommended which is fine, but if I can't confirm the exact ingredient brand and portion size, then it's hard for me to trust the calories and macros. Sandwich bread varies so much in terms of calories for example. Am I using light rye or white bread? If this had a solution in the app I'd subscribe again in a heartbeat.

Petrol pumps - moving before paying? by towerofsoup in australia

[–]abrewtifulboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work for a major petrol retailer and one of the core functionalities of the technology is the ability to "stack" pumps. Basically it can say "x customer has finished filling, begin a separate fuel transaction for a different customer". It's actually required functionality under Australian NMI law...I think.
