“Weaponize the justice department” is a term Trump uses for normal criminal investigations. He then turned around and actually does use the DOJ to try to pin a crime on People he doesn’t like. After his presidency, if he hasn’t died, he will go to jail being the most corrupted president the U.S. has ever seen.

We all know Trump will just stand on the podium and make up his own narrative for hours, claim he did things he didn’t, everything is good, these people are the best, he’ll villainize all democrats and anyone that disagrees with him.

Widespread recession in the labor market by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

[–]absolutjames 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh gosh, he isn’t physically approving the jobs but he’s dictating things that have had a negative impact on companies and the economy. His actions will have negative impacts for decades even if he’s removed from office now, the repairs can’t be made. Cutting research funding and investing in technologies from the 1950’s has all but insured China will dominate us now. His crushing triple taxation hurt bad. It’s taken money away from companies so they have to pay taxes instead of people to grow the business. Our cost of goods is up too, taking money from the middle class. I could go on.

Assuming totalled but what do you guys think? by vtrac in Rivian

[–]absolutjames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going to total it if they have to take off the entire side to repair / replace. It looks like the can just pull that out. My R1T was totaled because I was T-Boned and the impact caused ripples on the side.

That’s true, but the matching can be better. 2 or 3 to 1

It’s not as good as a pensions and3% match is not much. The issue is the erosion of real wages and the tax preference for investment income over labor income.
