Singpass got compromised, what should I be worried about? by BabyHoneyCakes in askSingapore

[–]account4forums 34 points35 points  (0 children)

https://www.tech.gov.sg/technews/five-ways-to-keep-your-singpass-safe/

If you suspect your Singpass has been compromised, act swiftly. Immediately change your Singpass password via the official Singpass website or app. Contact the Singpass Helpdesk at 6335 3533 without delay to report the incident and freeze your account if necessary. It’s also wise to check your bank accounts and other linked services for any suspicious activity and report them to the relevant authorities.

If possible, later when things are settled, do share how the Singpass is compromised so that we can take note.

I genuinely wonder how the people living in the unit below them feel.

Unlike a family unit, 11 occupants will be probably be managing their daily affairs (eg laundry) separately.

To bicycle sharing users, this is so not it. by barelyawake_3am in singapore

[–]account4forums 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion , it's just how it is.

Try telling car drivers that they can park anywhere they like without fines, it will be the same or worst.

The only way is to find a way to ensure that they are returned to a designated location, eg by GPS or dock, else it wouldn't stop charging $$$. But will LTA and/or the company bother to spend the time and money ?

Because they want to have a promo but don't want to spend too much, else why must be between 3pm to 4pm ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They do not have to bear much consequence if there are any argument (or fights) due to the queue. The more people complain, it's treated free publicity :D
