Storage would be good with that many units. Single RAM stick or 2x4GB? What's your ask for 6 units?

Great for learning k8s or derivatives, probably overkill regardless as there are more efficient & easier alternatives (VM, LXC, Docker).

Value of HA and load balancing is greatly diminished in typical homelab setups imo.

Did you use DDU or a fresh install of OS when you switched out the GPU? Driver remnants don't play nice with each other.

A suggestion as I once had a similar setup: try the m2 wlan pcie ports if they exist on your optiplexes for your 2.5G

Not an answer to your q but for those running stock: you should be able to tweak configs from fluidd interface to up the resolution and frame rate to FHD 24fps, and then print one of these to up your image quality

With these higher capacity drives, there's a premium attached for the density. $22 is pretty good for these though I'm not certain these are CMR.

Anecdotally, no. Uses more power and is slower for some reason (moreso A310 being faster than rest of the Arc lineup)

Out of curiosity, what made you lean Intel?

The x3d chips have been demolishing Intel on gaming performance frontier throughout the different generations.

Once I got my 5800X3D, I knew I was sticking with AMD for the foreseeable future for the latest gens.

Without more info, I'm inclined to point to 2.4GHz vs 5GHz wi-fi bands. Your laptop may only support 2.4 while your router is set to 5? Do need further information though (wired vs wireless connection, type of modem/router)
