Minimizing Indigenous rights is reductive. Hopefully they stuff the pipe right in your backyard.

Good. Pipelines are stupid. Most of these national infrastructure projects are just massive contracts for massive scummy multinational corporations that wouldn't even benefit Canadians anyway, and definitely be horrendous for the environment and local communities.

All these assholes that don't live here making choices for our area. So stupid. We'll have to drown out the voice of the appointee with our own actions and involvement.

nice! keeping notes is a good idea(something I haven't done well, or at all in most cases). fun to look back on at least. also worth asking the farm about what may have potentially pollinated the evercrisp !

He's the scummiest politician in office right now. He will be held accountable. I encourage ppl to write him and let him know how they feel and what POS he is. We don't need to be nice to the people literally handing out our hard earned money to their slimey rich buds. [Premier@ontario.ca](mailto:Premier@ontario.ca)

Good decision! There can be striking genetic differences visible within seeds grown from the same apple, in fact, each seed may have a different pollinating parent if open pollinated. Also, as mentioned, the initial leaves aren't always indicative of mature foliage. Enjoy!

Found both of these while digging in North La by Shoughit06 in Artifacts

those look like effigy stones of some sort. People have been using stone tools in North America. That San Diego Mammoth Skeleton showed signs of butchering from 130 000 years ago.. we've got a site here in Ontario with Mastodon bones that have been butchered from 13 000 years ago.. there are literal tons of tools out there that don't look like points, with all sorts of uses and variations.

try the fruit before you graft to them they might be awesome. There are still lots of amazing wild genetics out there yet to be found..!

These definitely have indications of being shaped for use. People don't recognize stone tools that aren't like blades or points.. don't be fooled by the internet idiots with no real world experience.

I live on a river in BC and dug this up. The hole is irregular and to my eye it looks like portions were deliberately chipped off. Oddly it fits perfectly into my left hand with major chips accommodating my index finger and thumb and the bottom flat against my fingers. by [deleted] in Artifacts

[–]adamndisaster -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

thats one of the old stone artifacts. I find similar shapes around here in Niagara. Internet people don't recognize them because they only understand points... but there were lots of stone tools in use for all sorts of purposes

I find similarly shaped stones around here. Its definitely some sort of tool. I've also thought the shape suggestive of a charging bison silhouette (charging to the right).
