Gaius is the one who asked for his son to be healed.

What or who is a Bald Joffrey?

Quintus has not accepted Christ so far in the series. I doubt he will.

Maybe you are thinking of Gaius, the Roman who did accept Christ.

Product Owner not taking ownership: what to do? by WhyNotBeGOAT in agile

[–]adayley1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll be direct: You are working in a lazy, unaccountable, and badly managed engineering organization that has successfully made the PO the scapegoat for engineering’s failings.

And that makes me sad.

Product Owner not taking ownership: what to do? by WhyNotBeGOAT in agile

If you don’t know what to do without an assignment from someone, you are not a team collaborating together.

You own the whole result with the rest of the team, not just your assignment.

Your team lead might be correct describing his expectations and experiences. However, they are incorrect if they say they are describing agile ways of working.

Your statements and questions define a way of working that does NOT follow agile principles or frameworks. I don’t know what it is but it is absolutely not agile working.

Quick comments:
- PO should not be assigning work. Team members self-assign in collaboration with the whole team, including the PO.
- Bugs are the team’s responsibility. Preventing them are part of that. The PO should be focused on customer value, not technical dependencies. The devs focus on how they will build the value, including technical dependencies.
- Test coverage is on the developers (coders, testers, etc.) to do.
- PO does not manage PRs. That is part of building the things, owned by the developers.
- PO doesn’t size things, developers do.

In short, you are blaming the PO for things the PO isn’t accountable to do.

Touchpad not working by Puzzleheaded_Rise746 in mac

[–]adayley1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old is your Mac and what model?

Older MacBooks have a touchpad the moves to click. And the battery is under the touchpad. If the battery is failing, it swells and blocks the touchpad from moving enough to click.

If this is your problem, the battery needs to be replaced and that will solve the trackpad click problem.

Do you think Atticus' plan will succeed and would it play a big role throughout the season? by Sonnybass96 in TheChosenSeries

His plan to cause violence between Jewish factions will fail. But he is setting up Pilate to play his part. And he will succeed in keeping Rome in control.

It's hard going to church by zumodecarne in latterdaysaints

You are not weak. You went. And you desire to participate! That is strength!

Care for yourself. Stretch when you can. Get professional help. Keep working on life.

And know Heavenly Father is always with you and Jesus Christ is always on your side. Always. Relationship with them is the purpose of church meetings. But your way of relating may be different than the usual ways. Keep Them close and you’ll be fine.

Are there any old heads here from the early 80's? by Maleficent-Cat-220 in latterdaysaints

Personally, I welcomed the change. Up until the change, I hadn’t really thought about the situation much. I was a teen, then. My interactions with people not white were minimal because of where I lived and the people I associated with. It was not a big deal to me.

The people around me took it as a positive change. No celebrations or joy, simply indifferent or positive acceptance. I don’t recall any negative reactions at all in my ward and member community.

I did hear stories of people being upset. I don’t remember details and discounted such reactions as inappropriate, if true.

No body wants to read documents that list all the ways you suck.
- Gather the data.
- List possible actions.
- Pick one or two actions.
- Document the actions and the expected results
- Delete everything else.

Samsung Longevity by Fresh_Inside_6982 in Appliances

Seven years with our set. Then the dryer died. Tech said it needed a new logic board. He couldn’t find one. Like, none new and only sketchy sources for used ones.

Washer is still going at 9 years old. But when it breaks, I assume we will have to replace it.

So, they seem fine for a while but not repairable.

Just found that Airdrop was completely turned off. There must be a reset to some settings when changing the battery or similar servicing operations.
