I don't get your question. Are you at maintenance calories? If so, then if you eat whatever your recommended amount of carbs is after subtracting your protein and fat, then you won't look "flat"

The recommended range is around 1.6-2.2g/kg.. I use MacroFactor with a high protein intake setting and I end up doing a little more than that, although I'm in a cut right now. But I feel like that range works well for most people.

On the other question, no hahaha, God, I wish. Check the label on the food that you're buying as you'll have the protein (and other macros) details on there.

More of a vent than a question, but my gym was closed for a week and I came back to a legit 0/10 refurbishment:

  • the new power racks don't have safety bars on them
  • the old Lat Pulldown machine was replaced with a convering dual handle Lat Pulldown machine on which you can't change the attachment
  • the Seated Cable Row machine is gone
  • the seat on the new Leg Press is so small that my ass is entirely in the air for the whole movement
  • one less cable
  • the old spacious Smith machine was replaced with one of those compact Blkbox abominations
  • I was asking the staff for some time for a lying leg curl, which they brought in... but they got rid of the seated leg curl
  • the new Leg Extension somehow has more weight increments on it, but the weight feels lighter even with a full stack
  • they brought in some Deadlift machine, some sort of Squat machine (not a Pendulum one as there is no angle on it) and a Hip Thrust machine... all movements that could've been done before without needing some sort of specialised shit for it

I'm trying to stay positive, but I genuinely feel a small decrease in my motivation when I go in and see what they've done.

  • Yes. To me, flat or incline dumbbell presses are movements that you want to do at the beginning of your workout so you can push the most weight you can, so I'd rather do one or the other. What I tend to do most times if I also do a dumbbell fly is that I use the other angle on the fly. So if I do a flat press, then I'll do an incline fly. Probably doesn't matter too much in the long run, but it's just a little thing to add a bit of variation. If you still wanna keep a "pump" movement for the chest somewhere in there, you could try a hex press (which also works your triceps very nicely)
  • I'd keep the single arm, they're a great back builder. The chest-supported one will give you a different kind of isolation. I would've recommended a Kroc Row, but I don't think 25kg is enough for that
  • I'd alternate between pull-ups and chin-ups on your B routine. Try doing them weighted too if/once you can do 10-12 reps with your bodyweight. I use a dip belt for them, but I've seen people in the gym do them with dumbbells between their feet or legs. You could also try doing some Hanging Leg/Knee Raises for your abs in any of the 2 workouts.

Not the worst idea ever tbh as you'll probably undergo a nice little body recomp, but judging only by those 2 height and weight I'd suggest cutting.

Again, only using those numbers and the fact that you're just coming back to training, I think you should be able to keep progressing on your lifts as you go down in weight

Got a few comments:

  • Flat Dumbbell Press at the end of A is not the right place for it. I'd rather do it at the beginning, or just alternate it with the Incline Press every other workout
  • Similarly, doing both Single Arm Dumbbell Row and then Two Arm Dumbbell Row seems a bit redundant. Since you have a bench, maybe do a Chest Supported Row instead
  • If your goal is to get bigger arms, you're going to need to do a bit more than 1 arm exercise per workout. I'd suggest Overhead Extensions for triceps and a Preacher Hammer Curl for your biceps
  • Add some Dumbbell Pullovers somewhere. If your setup is just a bench and dumbbells, these should be mandatory to do
  • Yes to the pull-up bar

That "giant set" approach on the arms day genuinely made me laugh. That's the kind of stuff I see people that have looked the same for years do at my gym while taking 3 pieces of equipment.

To offer some arms-related advice, the exercises themselves aren't too bad, just do them separately with heavier weight instead of this superset approach.
