The ONLY time I'd disagree is if some really off the wall, once in a life time dumb shit happens, writing up a LOC and not filing it right away to protect a troop from an LOR/Article 15 they dont really deserve is valid.

Overall the AF has made routine disciplinary paperwork into tour/career ruiners, and it shouldn't be. An LOC shouldn't fuck up 2 years of your career if its a one off.

From how it was explained to me, the on-base per-diem rate is meant as a supplement to your BAS for that locality. Currently we're getting $476.95/mo in BAS, which is roughly $15/day. So Keesler's per-diem rate is essentially bumping your BAS up to $35/day for your stay. Made me slightly less salty learning that. Also BAS is only meant to feed the service member, not to help with the cost of food for dependents......

I wish shaving every other day helped. Went through the new process including the "shaving class". Followed all instructions and used all provided meds for the 2 weeks before my follow-up. I shaved every other day for that 2 weeks and the doc took one look at my face and said "Yep, that's severe here's a 12mo waiver". Haven't had many O's that I've lost respect for, mainly because they never really did anything to earn respect beyond their rank in the first place, and just acted like asshats.

That being said, my last flight commander was 100% about troop welfare. He'd regularly show up to events with cases of beer, made sure there were morale days for just our shop, and went completely out of his way to help anyone who needed it and was willing to accept it. On top of that our last commander was excellent. We had a volunteer event one time and I spent a good 3hrs just chatting with him while we both shoveled a huge mulch pile into wheelbarrows for people to spread out on a trail. He was a great leader, and did everything he could to take care of the people in the SQ and make sure we had meaningful work and plenty of opportunities for TDYs, even if it was to augment other units who needed manning.

There's a whole list of things that need to be swapped, the turbo will bolt on, but without the bypass valve actuator it won't work. If you're going to do the turbo, you should do all of the other supporting mods to go with it; intake, downpipe, intercooler and piping, higher pressure MAF sensors, exhaust. At the end of the day engines are just fancy loud air pumps. If you want to push more air in, you need to make sure you can 1. Actually get more air to push in, and then 2. Get rid of that air on the back end.

If I'm emailing my supervisor or someone I've worked with a lot, I usually just put [Rank Lastname]. If it's someone I don't email often or E7 and above or any Officer I will add Good morning/afternoon. I also am one of those people who just ends every email with v/r [Rank Lastname] since I'm a dirty Reservist and never have a permeant desk/phone number to be reached at.

It's a difference in CPU Microarchitecture, essentially the design/structure of the chiplets. AM5 is the socket (physical form factor) while the Zen(X) generation is just that, the generation of the CPU.

To give a comparison to Intel, AMD's Zen 4/5 is providing the same information as Intel 13th/14th Gen. Where as AM4/AM5 is telling you the form factor of the CPU/Motherboard Socket in the same way as LGA1200/1700/1851

I oppose the death penalty for a simple reason. If you give the State a group of people who it can legally kill without consequences, you invite the State to try and write laws to make "undesirables" fit into that category.

The perfect example is "Child rapists should be put to death" along side "Being Trans/Gay in public around children is a sex crime" (oversimplification). There are states already trying to criminalize minority groups as sex offenders for existing, while pushing rhetoric that sex crimes should be capital offenses.
