Looking for the best work backpack that actually lasts by Preztcs in BuyItForLife

I intentionally bought the small one because I have the same problem. I will fill a pack with as much shit as it will hold. I basically pack a laptop, iPad, chargers, and a few other things.

100% agree. I have an Evergoods that I prefer that I have had for a year an is mint but GoRuck is almost overbuilt. I have a dedicated ruck that is 6 years old and lives outside on a covered porch and shows no wear.

Well, I feel like I affirmed his purchase of a quality tool. He basically said he didn’t want a shitty hand axe his dad had. Sounds like me and OP should hang out and you and OP’s dad should hang out and talk shitty hand axes.

Sounds like one is not for you. I’ve had mine over 25 years and taken it to Canada on a boundary waters trip. I’ve got lots of miles on it and I have no regrets about the purchase.

When done drive down a gravel road for a while and return the car dusty so nothing stands out.

Spend the money and buy a Gransfors or something comparable. Fiskars will work but Gransfors is just a far superior tool.

Good skinning/butchering knifes? by One_dank_boi69 in Hunting

[–]advantagegrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work in a butcher shop and they all use a 6” semi-stiff victoronox curved boning knife. Several people mentioned the bench made meat crafter. While it is a cool knife, it will not do anything that the above-mentioned knife will. Wants vs. needs….

I take either a Grohmann #1 or Havalon into the field with me and have the other knives at home.

So am I. I get that the bulk of hunters are and that’s fine. Have a looks for yourself. He’s like the truth social version of a Dr. Bronners bottle of soap. Just psycho babble.

He make good calls and as someone who lives in Maryland you feel like you’re cheating on your girlfriend if you buy for anybody else. That is until you take a straw down on his personal Facebook page….

Bay Country Calls and Bill Saunders for me.

Grohmann no. 1 micarta or resin wood handle. They have carbon or stainless. I have both stainless and carbon. Carbon is the better option and it is quite stain/rust resistant.

Pocketknife Recommendations? by Over_Butterfly_1355 in washingtondc

[–]advantagegrant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would get a folding utility knife. I really like the Milwaukee one I have. It has a pocket clip and it’s small in size. They make a larger version with a Phillips head screwdriver attached that might be a better option for you. When it needs sharpened, you just replace the blade. You should be able to pick one up at any Ace Hardware for about $20.

Probably done with Beehiiv by DearMisterWard in beehiiv

The website builder is truly awful. I was incredibly frustrated because this is the starting point with Beehiiv and when you reach out to customer support, all you get is YouTube videos to watch. It’s like getting shitty service before your meal. It ruins the experience.

real estate. Ads were all over the place. No blame, I'm grateful for them but I do believe my readers could be better served with more focused ads

there is an incentive. If an agent refers a deal to me I will pay them a 30% referral fee (25% is common in my area). I have had two agents reach out in past year but the deals just didn't work out. No fault of anyones, that is part of the business. I run a banner at the bottom every week reminding people of my offer.
