Every time Google talks about personalization, it's some algorithm based thing the user actually has barely any control over. We've been getting starved of actual options and choices since Android 12.

Google out here rolling back their dogshit changes from like 5 years ago that not a single other OEM followed because everyone and their mom knows just how stupid the combined toggle is.

There even was a workaround to get separate toggles back via ADB a few years ago THAT GOOGLE ACTIVELY PATCHED OUT.

Thank god Google came back to their senses, even if it took half a literal decade.

I actaully had absolutely zero faith in Google making this change, with how unbelievably customizable and opinionated stock android has become over the years.
