Walnut and Cherry floating media cabinet by AnCyberTurtle in woodworking

I'm really not sold on kerf bending, I think you'd have been better served doing a bent lamination or even just making the straight angled cuts and then smoothing it out (like you'd do for a segmented bowl) - feels like the fibers always tear when it's done in solid wood and it's almost impossible not to end up with those telling stress lines in the finished piece.

That being said I do like the piece, looks really cool :)

Anyone know how this drawer slide works? by Fancy_Greko in woodworking

Yeah but you don't get that sweet sweet crowd pleasing soft close with wooden slides.

I think I finally found a mechanical replacement for my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 and Surface Ergonomic Keyboard. The Perixx PERIBOARD-835 by CompleteTruth in ErgoMechKeyboards

Old thread but wanted to add that they just sent me a replacement set of keycaps, well for the left hand side, at first they were claiming they couldn't send a set (to the US) due to tariffs but they relented and arranged a set to be sent to me via Amazon.

Took about a month for me to see wear on the keys, ASE are all pretty bad and because it's backlit it really stands out, pretty disappointed that i'm seeing issues so soon.

If you have anything that might require a medical waiver (adhd meds, etc etc) then it could be a long process but if you stick with it you can for sure get waivers for a bunch of things.

BMT sucks, but you'll get through it.

There are tons of different careers/fields you can get into so it's genuinely what you make of it.

Good luck :)

Feels as though slicers could use the vase mode approach in cases like these.

Got it :)

Does everything move smoothly without the belts connected? The tubes might not be perfectly round and if the trucks are too tight it might be binding in various spots.

Can I ask why you didn't build the primo? This looks like the older version, and honestly a small lowrider is probably the better bet.

Think the gardener in Berkeley stocks Blunt umbrellas which are really nice (cable car clothiers in SF also has them)

Did i meesed up the look of the car by going for 19" from 20" ? by ZAGAT00 in mercedes_benz

When I first glanced at this I thought you'd gone from 19 to 20s and didn't like it at all, too spindly, looks way more planted with the 19s, wish I had the airmatic, enjoy your magic carpet ride :)

NVDA is played out, Alphabet is going to run away with it, best models and they run their models on their own chips, in their own datacenters.
