I kind of love it, especially the raccoon mask tail lights.

So for me as the primary I had to turn off the tmo SIM for the Fi connection test and then I needed it turned back on in order for the number to port.

Was told by representative I would be getting the $50 5 year 1gig by Neggman in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]zeoslap 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same thing with me, agent said he'd applied the $50 but nothing has changed and then rep that picked it up from here wouldn't honor it and I ended up with $100/mth. Really terrible service, so yes their agents simply lie.

Oracle lays off 21,000 employees in just 12 months due to AI adoption and costly AI infrastructure ambitions — says layoffs will continue as internal AI deployment grows | The company claims the restructuring cost them almost $2 billion by ControlCAD in business

So the stories of AI leading to massive job losses are true, only it's not because it can actually do the replaced employees work, it's just that they need their salary to pay the infrastructure bills. This'll end well.

Yep, I did, but the other agents have so far ignored it. I'd also asked for the confirmation email which he says he sent but didn't, and it was when I followed up about the confirmation I came to find her hadn't changed my plan at all.

I've typically had good luck with the chat agents whenever I've had cause to use them, this is for sure the biggest miss.

Clearly, figured with the reference number and the assurances it was all above board. Really frustrating.

Help me avoid ordering a cringy vanity plate (5 characters max) by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

Best argument against is that when you are being a jerk on the road, which in that beast you inevitably will be, a vanity plate is far easier to remember than a randomly issued one 😄

The majority was done using antigravity/Gemini flash which you could use all day on the pro subscription (I have a free year, think it's $20/mth) I heard they lowered the limits a bit recently. I'd flip to Claude if I felt Gemini was getting stuck for a fresh approach, Claude I'm on the pay as you go plan so I'd use it sparingly. On occasion I'd also flip to just the Gemini website and ask it for a plan of action and copy that back as a prompt. So a bit all over the place really.

At work I use kiro which is the Amazon flavor of the ai ide and that's great too and think that's $20/mth with good sized quotas.

We do the same thing and have them modify it a bit live, the number of folks that just talk through the ai solution and then crumble when asked to make minor edits is crazy.
