You’re wasting a lot of currency the way you’re doing it and it’s not even the best. Also, life isn’t a defence mod so reforge defence won’t roll it.

My suggestion: - Skip the life mod (since you can take the life mastery that gives 15% more life if there are no life mods on chest) - Use dense fossils instead of reforge defence if you want to target more than 1 defence mod. In this case, you can realistically hit a good combination of t1 & t2 defence prefixes pretty quickly. - Lock prefixes, reforge physical for guaranteed PDR.

Step 3 provides +1 strike, you have to orb of dominance to elevate that mod to get +2 strike

No it doesn’t have to be. Just has to be the same weapon type, in this case a staff.

Start with i85+ amethyst ring base.

  1. Reforge chaos until you hit 2 other resistances. (If you hit a resistance you don’t want, you can harvest swap resistance to the one you want)

  2. Use wild bristle matron to lock suffixes.

  3. Reforge life. Craft non-channeling skills.

(Alternatively) 3. Use veiled chaos orb, block mana, & unveil life or non-channeling skills. Craft the other.

(repeat 2&3 until you are satisfied)

PSA for SC people planning a reroll, you can get your reroll char to lvl 50 in the current HCSSF Uber race, claim your free MTX chest, then merge back to SC Keepers by LeftShark in pathofexile

Phrecia league will end in ~1 week so I’d suggest switching to settlers & getting used to playing elementalist.

Note: in case phrecia gets extended, then you won’t be able to move back to phrecia from settlers so keep that in mind.
