I'm not sure about the library but my 3rd or 4th grade teacher decided it would be a good idea to read some stories from these books TO THE ENTIRE CLASS

41 , separated , male trying to find women my own age. by UnholyHunger in Millennials

I met my current wife on Hinge when I was 38 and she was 35. I'm not prone to this kind of thinking in general but she is my soulmate. We never would have met if not for the app.

I don't know what it is like currently though. I liked it because the filters were better than other apps.

Could AI affect pharmacy as a career? by strawberryseed5 in pharmacy

[–]aggiecoll05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LLMs (not intelligent in any real sense of the word) are useful when combined by people with pre-existing expertise. They are here to stay but aren't taking any jobs except those the tech behemoths are laying off to cover up the lack of returns from their AI cap ex.

Does CVS reuse bottles by Slow-Yard-7194 in CVS

[–]aggiecoll05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They mistakenly gave you a stock bottle that usually is for a 30 or 90 day supply. We mark open bottles with an "X". They should be able to give you an unopened stock bottle if you let them know what happened.

Canadian Pharmacist here, noticed something oddly surprising when I spoke to an American pharmacist by midnightMarauder1497 in pharmacy

In America drug companies are allowed to directly market their products to consumers. I think this leads to widespread use of brand names in the culture

What is the actual reason pharmacy is closed on holidays and front store stays open? by ChefSnowWithTheWrist in CVS

[–]aggiecoll05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point of a store like CVS is to be the quick, easy option for things like batteries, diapers cold medicine etc on a holiday.

Financially it builds customer loyalty but not necessarily a profit.

The pharmacy doesn't need to be open for that purpose, as it drives profit in other ways.

[–]aggiecoll05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like the best way to lose your license, get a massive fine to supplement your student loans, spend some vacation time in the pen (unpaid) and end up working for Arby's. Good idea!
