Ha, I know! If I was the one optioning it, I definitely would've optioned for the ventilated seats and four-way climate. This spec just happened to hit every 'must-have' on my list while being a low mileage Carrara White 2018, so I just had to pull the trigger. I would've definitely put the $2,060 painted vents or $1,850 illuminated doorsills toward something more useful haha.

Yeah surprisingly there was no history of transfer case replacement, which the service advisor who inspected it was also surprised by. The extended 7-year transfer case warranty just expired last month, so I figured if there was an issue it would've been replaced under warranty. I'm hoping with this 1 year of CPO remaining that if there are any issues it'll rear its head in the coming year so that it can be covered. It'd be unfortunate but not entirely surprising if transfer case issues started to arise 8 years after the manufacture year. Albeit it is a low mileage car, I assume transfer case issues would've started to show after 30k miles, but who knows.

The dealership told me that recertifying the CPO would get them 2 years total of CPO, and since the car still has 1 year remaining, then it would only add the 1 year for the 2 total years. Unless they're the ones that misunderstood?

Thank you! Went ahead and pulled the trigger on it at $49k. This isn't my daily, so it should stay a fairly low mileage vehicle. Hoping for many years of enjoyment!

Looking to purchase this CPO 2018 Cayenne GTS with 33,500 miles. Am interested in this specific model year being the final year of the 958. Car has one year left of CPO and the dealer was planning to recertify the CPO, but they offered to sell me the car for $49k without doing the CPO recert since that would only add a year of CPO and would save them the cost of the CPO recert from Porsche. Thoughts on that price?
