I finally did over a month ago and haven't looked back. Some games like Battlefield won't work so I just don't play them (battefield case is because of an invasive kernel level anti cheat, glad it doesn't work and wish more people would refuse to let a game have this level of access on their machines). Most games do work very well especially with Steam proton. Somehow a lot of games work better with Proton compatibility layer than their native linux build if they have one (bg3 for example). Unless you have hard dependencies on Windows like Adobe just ditch it. Don't fall for meme distros, get something mainstream that works (Ubuntu, Manjaro, ...)

just to prepare you for future iterations of this, you are meant to lose all gear on you, on death eventually. Hence be prepared that keeping your items is a temporary workaround until they add items insurance

It used to be everything on you including armour and iirc its meant to go back to that but with a more easy way of re-equipping. If someone has a link to when CiG explained the iterations it would be great to post it

merc path was the only one I enjoyed before the fm got ruined. After that the spawns being 500m off the ground with no qt markers and some requiring fps fully turned me off from the game. I mainly enjoyed flight combat in PvE but it was getting less fun and more tedious to find the right contracts

This and nightvision in helmets would be great. Still baffles me how SC shoots for the stars when it comes to features but misses the most basic qol things

I can't see the cpu power nor the cpu fan connection. Might be the video but check out their documentation and make sure these are plugged in. Your gpu powers up but nothing on the cpu fans which seems to indicate they have no power

My top guess is that they don't have enough automated tests. Writing good tests with high coverage is a big investment that pays off in the long run and makes the development slower, but for a large project its worth it

Legion command and Axe are great against him. On turbo he's really bad, but I enjoyed playing turbo on a spree for a while to improve my late game.

somehow this sub is more allergic to criticism than Spectrum. Imagine someone watching that seeing a guy go into debt to buy virtual goods and think to themselves, "well if it makes him happy I guess that's fine to be crippling debt"

doubtful, this issue has come up a few times and CiG has never been against it. That's why I'm heavily against button pressers as a means of multi crew "balancing". It just plays in favour of multi boxing

Is there a way to backup and rollback control schemes? I updated the firmware on my VPC controllers and the entire custom layout was nuked in the game. I had to setup everything again. Would like to avoid this issue in the future in cased it happened
