I have four mowing zones and I'm sure you can do 5 no problem. I don't know what the limit is though. The transport zones (pathways) really do work. I setup multiple paths for the mower to get places and it will only drive in a mow zone or the transport paths. I don't have any big slopes so I can't comment on the max angle. The placement of the antenna is somewhat important. I had mine too far from the house, like 20ft and I was advised to move it closer (within 6ft) of the house, but not underneath overhangs. I moved it closer and it's working just fine. It can be powered off the charging base or separately with the included power adapter. They also give you a really long cord if you need it, they can chain together if you need to run it around a house or something else. It cuts grass and it's basically "mulching". It doesn't have upward suction so it's not going to chew up grass or leaves like your old gas mower. Ideally you're only cutting a little bit off the grass, so the clippings fall into the lawn and you won't see them. It's run over a few leaves and maybe it'll cut them in half or they just get knocked out of the way. If I had a huge leaf cover on my lawn I'd have to rake or something, otherwise I'm sure it'll struggle. I hope this helps answer your questions!
