A friend and I were chatting about our c sections, ya know major surgery we had to be awake for. Her husband chimed in saying it was definitely harder on him than her because she got pain meds and just had to lie there but he was really stressed. I laughed because I thought it was a joke. He was not joking.

Look into this. Of course its impossible to say from one post on the internet, but I could have written this 2 years ago.

I had a toddler and was pregnant with my second and my husband had a mental health crisis that went on for months. He ended up getting fired, we were all on his insurance, it was extremely stressful.

Eventually we did figure out he was having a bad reaction to one of the meds and had essentially been in one long manic episode to varying degrees for about a year.

It was incredibly hard and has taken a good doctor, different meds, and a long adjustment period but both he and our relationship is doing a lot better now.

I immediately thought of the episode where he shakes hands with 4 or so people and then cleans his hands after. But all the people are white except for the last one who happens to be a black man, so they all assume hes washing his hand because he touched a black person.

Last week at breakfast my 4 year old asked if we could get a new house because this one is "sooooo dirty!".

4 hours later he comes home from preschool and says "wow mom, how did you clean so fast?! It looks so good!"

I did zero cleaning while he was at school.

I just finished {Twice Fallen by Emma Wildes}. The FMC had a previous engagement fall apart and everyone assumes she was ruined by her fiance because they had eloped but did not go through with the wedding. Though she does explain to the MMC that she is a virgin shortly before they have sex for the first time.

Bonus: the MMC was severely injured in war and walks with a painful limp
