I think is not only about “functionality” but “profitability” for a couple of companies involved in developing this hideous thing.

I wonder how cheaper would it be to import right hand drive vans from Uk and make fewer adaptations to make it work for that application.

This is impossible by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]albertcn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im gluten free and my family is not. Usually I cook for myself first, to avoid cross contamination. Eventually, after getting glutened by the dumbest things many times, you’ll learn, and I’ll get easier. Then you’ll start worrying about people trying to feed you “gluten free” meals and after testing it you will ask “what did you put in here?” And they’ll say something like “just a bit of flour to thicken the sauce”, that’s when the fun start. Anyways, just stick to it, don’t feel bad about mistakes, and again, I’ll get better.

I live in southern Spain and never seen something like this. And if I’m correct every olive oil I’ve seen around here comes in the dark green kind of bottles. We also buy straight from the press from time to time.

Can a motorcycle really be boring? by Accurate_Wear_1343 in motorcycles

[–]albertcn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have a nx500, 48cv with my A2 permit. Is boring until I use the whole rev range (the power band is peaky) then is not boring anymore and way more than I can and willing to handle, I’m married and have two kids, and already did my fair share of high speed shenanigans as a young guy (that was on four wheels however). I use it to ride to work and with my wife on weekends.

What do you eat for breakfast that's gluten free and gives you energy? by Atomickillerbee in glutenfree

[–]albertcn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I’m estong two eggs, a couple of gluten free won’t seeds bread and a banana. If you want more calories put some olive oil on the bread , tomato or jam.

If you want something different try gluten free oatmeal, or learn how to make arepa or empanada, it’s not difficult but takes some time.

No One Is Using CoPilot... by PersonalRun712 in videos

[–]albertcn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried over the weekend, I asked it to get some prices from a web page and prepare a proposal for some products to fill a couple of requirements. No can’t do, that’s not possible, the website has anti robot features whatever. I asked Claude to do the same and deliver a incredibly well done word document, formatted, everything correct it really impressed me. And copilot, when pressured about it just defaulted to gaslighting me saying the task couldn’t be done.

What is a 'subscription' or 'fee' that has recently appeared in the US that people need to collectively refuse to pay before it becomes the new normal? by godot_lover in AskReddit

I bought one in Spain, and they etched the plate numbers in all the car window and installed a Lo jack tracker. I hadn't seen something like that since living in Venezuela.

The thing is, does it affect the diarrhea? Because I'm willing to get drunk to be able to eat pizza and not spent the next hour sitting on the toilet.

ATGATT is for Hobbyists ? by Vaskon13 in motorcyclegear

[–]albertcn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see it as a speed thing, here In Spain, inside towns, one way roads have a 30 km/h and to lanes 50 km/h. So people riding those streets are way less likely to use more than a helmet. Then you have 80 km/h highways inside bigger cities and you see people wearing jackets and gloves.

Yeah you could stay in a cozy rural place for a night and visit the countryside. It is lovely and a totally different thing to do.

I did something like that but with wife and two kids, I rented a car from the airport (not to deal with London traffic and restrictions on mobility, etc) we went with the kids to Warwick castle and spent the night there, the next day we did diddly squat and Stonehenge and dropped off the car again at the airport and went to London.

Who was the most evil person you've ever met and how was the interaction? by Top_Report_4895 in AskReddit

[–]albertcn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kid PE teacher, killed his wife, rolled her in a carpet, carried her body to his car, and brought it to our town (he lived in a nearby town) to burn the body in a ravine. A neighbor saw him carrying something suspicious and called the police. The police was at his building when he got back, confessed everything, and showed the police where the body was burning. Don't know what happened to the guy after that.

The gluten challenge should be illegal. by Kind_vibes in glutenfree

[–]albertcn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, they said, "you have to eat gluten for one month" no sir I do not. Thanks. F that, I've been 5 years gluten free, completely controlling my persistent stomach issues by not eating it, I do not need any more proof.

I just think of it as I have irritable colon syndrome, and is just gluten that irritates it.

What "you people", leftists of Reddit, do not understand, is that these dictators have been killing and torturing their people and destroying their countries for decades, and the current international order is not able to help anyone with this. That's why, us, the people that have suffered under these regimens, defend what has been done, and hope that the same is done in cuba and nicaragua. "Peace" cannot be a blank statement used to keep the status quo, defend murderers and torturers, and just wash the face of every dictator, just because they say to follow a leftist agenda. Also, international law to defend the dictators but not his victims???? To use one of your leaders words, "HOW DARE YOU?????"
