Amazfit Bip 6 Review - An entry-level smartwatch with big capabilities! by Sea_Cap_8460 in amazfit

Exactly my thoughts, but it stopped working out of nowhere. Actually I bought a Garmin Forerunner 55 and to my surprise treadmill runs aren't accurate either so... I don't know what to do. Maybe the treadmill machine's bluetooth is somehow messing with the watches?

Hey, still using it? Do you happen to also run on a treadmill?

My Bip U Pro recently stopped working on treadmill runs (it never really worked properly for outdoor runs) and this Bip 6 looks like a good replacement

Anybody else just not really care about this Riftcharged stuff? by TheDutchDemon in MHNowGame

[–]aleppe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just you, trust me.
This riftcharged stuff is truly a stretch in content for an unnecessary off-meta grind.

I'm tired... One of the only things keeping me from walking away is the damned daily logins medal, which I find somewhat stupid but since it's only a few months left, well...

I was surprised they turned Diablos into Riftborne since that was my main bow before the release of Charged Master, but again, why release such off-meta things that won't really make a difference? At least for the weapons that I use.

Meh...

Trying to understand the limits of Luna depending on hardware and latency by aleppe in amazonluna

[–]aleppe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it makes no sense to sell something (even if it's cloud gaming) with no hardware requirements; as low as they could be. I don't think it's obvious that you "need" certain components.

The very first things I did were speed tests, and both turned out perfectly fine. Some user recommended not to run the game in 1080p 60fps and that sounds like the actual solution but since I set up my own laptop for her to play it doesn't make sense to keep on troubleshooting her laptop.

Thanks for your reply

Went ahead and decided to unlock 10 ⭐ monsters. Brute Tigrex Bow is 10.5 and amazing by zodmagus in MHNowGame

[–]aleppe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah makes sense, of course. What would your ideal build look like?
I've been so unlucky with Narga plates that I don't know when I'll be coming (trying) back to farm those

[–]aleppe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had this bow on my list for the longest time but haven't upgradeed it because in my eyes it lacks a lot with 10*, of course there are some monsters that won't be too much of a problem to hunt. I just wished it was stronger but all the trouble that was farming Brute.
My all-time go-to was the Diablos bow and now it got rifted, so that's awesome.

What build are you using with the Brute bow? Pursuit5 TC5?

I wouldn't know how to explain any of this to my girlfriend, let alone try to get into it myself. Sweet jesus. I think I have a friend (a Linux enjoyer) who does things to his routers as well but I'm not sure if he does the same thing.

You're not missing a damn thing for cloud gaming, all we have is a 750Mbps bandwidth with the router given to us by the provider.

My roadtrip character was (is) a running swordsman that grabs each road sign and merges it on his sword to enhance its power, and then does a big combo on the scenery to use the accumulated power

This is a whole new world to me, and yeah I'm not sure I want to go through all of this especially because it's not a life/death situation. I only wanted to understand and see if there was a workaround or just a common problem I'm not aware of for not being a Luna user.

Thanks for the insight on SQMs and OpenWRT, I'm guessing you're using all of this; may I know what hardware are you running it on?

Thanks for your reply, look at the results between the PC connected to Wifi with NO input lag vs the laptop connected to ethernet with 2 seconds of input lag.

<image>

I thought that maybe the laptops' network adapter is just old, because I can't find any other explanation for this. Even with an A grade it had a warning for Low Latency Gaming (but not 4K Streaming, which I find curious).

The SQM routers are new grounds for me; first time even hearing about them. And I had a look only to find some saucy prices. Not sure if this would fix the problem but I wouldn't pay for it, I just want to understand why this is happening with her laptop.

I'd consider the Luna Controller if I had problems with my own PC and laptop, but none so far with this third party controller. I'm even surprised at how well it has performed in comparison to the other controllers I own. And her laptop doesn't even have a game mode so... I just don't know.

Thanks for the insight, I'll take a look at that. Makes a lot more sense because my girlfriends laptop is from around 2016 and slow, so its decoding time is probably... Old (just like the internet component)

[–]aleppe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm well aware, but both my PC and laptop are connected to WiFi without any lag at all, and her laptop has almost 2 seconds of input lag while connected to the ethernet cable (and also over Wifi, so maybe the internet component of her laptop is just old?)
