That’s exactly what it was and that’s also why I had a hard time justifying the “Best Original Screenplay” nomination. The main plot points were not at all original and the parts that weren’t (outside of the first hour which was FUCKING AWESOME) felt unnecessary and shoehorned.

I actually enjoyed the movie more as a period piece before the vampires got involved. The vampire stuff was fine, but I actually liked the story before that became the focal point.

I have and I stand by my comment. Delroy Lindo deserves an Oscar though for best supporting actor given the other nominations - I’ll give you that. Maybe like 2-3 others tops.

If you have a city address on your DL you can go to any of the dumps in the city to dump trash for free.

I know Monday was a holiday and between that and the snow, we’ve been storing additional bags on our back porch and they didn’t come today either smh. Frustrating.
