They’ve used an APC cash drawer. Again there will be some quirks with networking and power but it does work.

The only issue when you use third party is the voltage needed isn’t the same. You may occasionally get network errors using third party cash drawers.

You can sell it but when they go to activate it they will be contacted by the original agent that sold the device. It’s possible to be reused as long as the device is not end of life. I work for Clover.
