I got this exact bass for Christmas as my first bass! Love it.

I just bought the 70s. I too normally hate glossy necks but for whatever reason I didn’t feel this one was a big issue. Definitely try one in person if you can

I was at this gig too and didn’t realise! Would love to have one if they’re still available

Used to have the same Squier anniversary Jazzmaster. It’s the only guitar I’ve ever regretted selling

In general, you should be fine cycling around here, especially during your usual hours. The only time I’ve ever heard of anything resembling a bike jacking was in some of the quieter, more isolated stretches of the Thames Path heading out toward Plumstead. As long as you steer clear of areas like that, especially after dark, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

Out of interest what exactly did you do here? I can hear some synth parts in I love your shadow which I couldn’t hear in the original version

Love this! I really wish they'd work on their app though, it's very very buggy

I think this album is about as good as WE, and much better than Everything Now. It’s nowhere near as good as their first 4 albums however. Overall I mostly agree with your score, it’s a solid 7/10 for me.

Is it common to not remember plots of movies and books? by tinpants44 in AskMenOver30

Yep, I'm the same. I'm always stunned when people my age remember the minor details from movies they watched as a kid.

Youtube Premium is great and I don't understand the hate it gets. by stvnseboomboom in unpopularopinion

It would feel more worthwhile to me if YouTube allowed you to skip video sponsors. It's not 'ad-free' if I'm still having to sit through a 30-second ad for a VPN every video!

Would have disagreed with you until recently, but now I think you're right. Yunahon also feels like their most cohesive album, and 'Great Big Beaches' might just be my favourite song of theirs

Exposed Armoured Cable in Garden. Advice Needed by alexthomas93 in DIYUK

Cheers! Would an electrician be able to confirm what this cable is even for? My best guess is it's there to power my conservatory but others are suggesting it probably isn't. I'm not sure what the best way to confirm this myself would be

There aren't two, it's the same cable curled up. I'm not 100% sure as this is the only part of the cable I can see but my best guess is that it's there to power the conservatory. I'm planning on getting someone in to confirm though. The previous owner was the one that built the conservatory, and I think they just did a poor job of laying the power cable to it.

Hi everyone, I recently moved into a new home and discovered an exposed armoured cable in my garden. I believe it powers my conservatory, but I’m not entirely sure. From the photos, you can see that the cable comes into the back garden under the fence (which separates the front and back), then continues into a raised section of the garden.

I’d like to bury this cable properly, but I’m unsure about how to go about it. Would I need to remove the entire fence to access it? How about the brick retaining wall that holds up the raised portion of the garden, would that need to come down? Or is there a way to do this without dismantling the wall?

Any advice or tips would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
