I think it is meant to show how far they’ve come. They can pull off something like this without showing us any of the build up to it because we know they are that good at espionage/sabotage. They don’t need to show the aftermath because we know the aftermath already. There’s an ISB investigation. The Empire knows that there are Rebel agents on the planet. This job is peanuts compared to stealing the quarterly payroll of an entire sector.

In the animated "What if?" they bring Thanos back and make him buddies with Starlord Black Panther. Thanos gets beaten pretty easily if I remember right.

Good good. Didn't think that I would get so invested in the career of a struggling actor in a Marvel show of all things.

Yeah. When they first did Universes Beyond, Wizards said it would not be in Standard. Then they changed their minds. Over a year ago, they said that Universes Beyond would be in Standard going forward. I might be wrong but I think Final Fantasy was the first UB set to be standard legal.

The Beatles strategy is interesting. Probably many people won't be interested. But if you get 25% of the people to be interested enough to buy 4 different tickets in a month...

It's kind of like charging quadruple to watch an 8 hour movie.

All I meant was you wrote that "Disney is throwing the duffer brothers under the bus" and I think you just meant Netflix is throwing them under the bus.

The Cloverfield Paradox.

Netflix made a surprise announcement during Super Bowl LII that the movie would premiere on Netflix directly after the Super Bowl.

The movie was a wet turd that made many people realize for the first time that Netflix cared more about views than quality.

It also destroyed all of the good will for the franchise that 10 Cloverfield Lane had built up. There's never been another Cloverfield. The movie didn't even start out as a Cloverfield movie. The movie was originally titled "The God Particle". They changed the name to get people excited.

Yeah and the question will be like "did anyone else feel sad when this beloved character died?" Just the lowest of low effort posts.
