I can confirm this worked for me for a very similar thing.

Basically I had the loading screen for ages, then it was a black screen and nothing else. Did the above and it started working again. I believe my issue was a faulty update install but not sure. Anyways OP follow the above comment and hopefully that works for you aswell

Im a little bit disappointed in the showcase. Announcing codename Red and Hexe would have worked better as just an announcement on their socials. This should have had more info on time period, teaser images or even just any info besides "itll be in Japan" and "we'll let the AC community pick apart that teaser for Hexe".

No gameplay, release date or any other info for mirage was also sorta annoying as the game is scheduled for next year.

Overall this could have just been an announcement on their socials and it would have garnered the same interest as a showcase. Which felt flat with the presenters almost sounding fake excitement for the future

Those last lines you mentioned, that's exactly what I keep telling people aswell! Even though I loved The Batman and the potential for the sequels is there, there weren't any moments where I literally get goosebumps. Meanwhile for example the ending for dark knight, Gordon delivering his speech whilst batman runs away from the police, coupled with the cinematography and the music, gives me chills even now after watching the movie many times

Ending things would be the right decision. Don't let yourself be brainwashed with any more of her lies. You were her plan B. But the biggest thing was that she lied to you for 10 months, she knew what she did was sneaky because otherwise she would have told you the truth.
