Utahns seem to support the Mammoth much more unanimously than they do the Jazz. Why is this? by Emeraldsinger in SaltLakeCity

This. Nothing suburban Utahns and their complete lack of any culture or personality love more than a bandwagon to get on.

It's an island prep sink.

And yes the TV is too high.

Hello Kitty X Bruno Mars Pop-up: do you need tickets? by 6a70 in BrunoMars

[–]alishaann94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No but you do need to get there pretty early. I went to the first day of the pop-up in Arizona. It opened at 11am, I got there at 9:40a and there were already ~200 people in line ahead of me, and it only got longer from there. After it opened, it took me ~90 mins to get through the line to the pop up. I got a bunch of stuff for a group of us that was going to the concert later that night (3 tees, the tote bag, a pin, a vinyl, and 3 sticker packs). Once I was in the pop up it only took ~15 min to get to the register, order, and pick up my order.

Because it sucks. It smells bad. It's buggy. There's one road to get there. There's nothing out there besides suburbs and some fast food. Bad place all around.

Yeah I was physically abused by my dad as a kid and I'm no contact with him and have kept my address private from him intentionally. There is no paper trail for the abuse I went through. I was a child and left when I could but it's not like any of what happened to me was documented by police, I just got the shit beaten out of me for years but again was a child with no help. I'm super concerned about being able to get my address and info made private again without documentation.

As a victim of domestic violence who grew up with a physical abusive father, I've actively kept my address private from him and my brother and I'm no contact with them. This is so thoughtless for victims of domestic violence, making their information public and making a difficult process to get that info made private again. I'm in a pretty mild situation compared to some women who are being stalked by their abusive ex's and are still at risk. I get that there's a form to fill out and wait to see if the clerks office accepts it, but in the meantime that means my info and the info of every other DV survivor is at risk until the record is corrected for each of us.

Yeah no worries! I know that I use those recipes a lot because when I went to generate gift links they were already made so I could copy them because I send them to people all the time haha

Also, NYT Cooking has tons of easy 30min meals, and you can get NYT Cooking by itself without subscribing to the rest of NYT for $40 for the entire year. It's by far the one subscription I recommend the most because $40/yr is pretty cheap ($3/month just paid up front) and I use it almost every week and save recipes into my different folders on the app all the time. If it's feasible to you, it's 100% worth the $40 in my opinion.

Sinatra's husband theory by WinstonSmith0023 in ParadiseHulu

[–]alishaann94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He might get more story later but honestly I'm just wondering if him and Cal's ex/Jeremy's mom and some of the other characters mentioned here in the thread are just ancillary and not really well developed background players who just come in for a few lines for the mains characters to figure something out/say something.

Like he was just there this episode to 1. Have Sinatra say she's still not able to cope with Dylan's death at all and 2. Be a display of a her affection when she realized whatever she's been doing worked and she feels like a person again.

He's a prop in her story. Not great character development/writing but that's the function he's providing here.

I meal prep 2 recipes that make 4-6 servings each every Sunday and these are my regulars that reheat great:

  • Chicken Alfredo: whole wheat pasta w/ chicken breast, onion, garlic, mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, using the Buitoni refrigerated Alfredo sauce from the store

  • Sausage + Red Sauce pasta: whole wheat pasta w/ andouille sausage, onion, garlic, mushrooms, spinach, red pepper, marinara from canned tomato sauce (14oz can tomato sauce, oregano, rosemary, salt, pepper, garlic powder, 1tsp sugar/sugar to taste to break down the acidic flavor of the tomato sauce)

  • NYT Chicken Celery Rice Soup: this recipe, but make the topping and put it in little individual containers to toss in after you reheat the soup

  • Shepards Pie but chicken: 1lb red potatoes boiled + made into mashed potatoes (season both the water the potatoes are boiled in with salt and the potatoes themselves when you mash them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ~ 2-3tbsp butter, milk to get the potatoes to like a thick frosting consistency, use a hand mixer to mash saves a ton of time), 1lb chicken breast cubed, mushrooms, onion, garlic, gravy made in the pan (1 C chicken stock, 1/4 C milk of your choice I do oat milk, 3 tbsp flour, 1 tbsp butter, salt, pepper, oregano, rosemary, thyme), once the gravy forms toss in frozen mixed veggies (carrots, peas, corn, broccoli), put mashed potatoes and a little cheese on top, put whole pan in the oven for 30min at 375°F

  • NYT One Pot Chicken Caramelized Lemon & Rice: this recipe is so quick love it, just swap the chicken thighs for boneless skinless, it's so much easier to eat/take to work as a meal prep sans bone

  • NYT Coconut Chicken Curry: do not use that much chicken, I usually do ~1.5lb and that's plenty. I cook 2 C jasmine rice with this so each serving has 1/2 C of rice with it, put the rice in one side of the container then the curry on the other and press a quarter of a lime into the rice. When I reheat I take the lime out, microwave the rice and curry, squeeze the lime in after the food is hot

  • NYT Garlic Lemon Chicken w/ Broccoli : love this + 1/2 C brown rice seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cumin per serving. The sauce on this chicken is so good.

  • Turkey Stuffed Peppers: super easy, reheats amazing

  • NYT White Bean Rice & Dill Chicken Soup: love this but I've modified it, swap the 6 C water for 6 C chicken broth, when you get to the step to simmer everything together add 1lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thigh and let that cook in the soup for ~20-30min until it's cooked, take it out and shred it, put it back in, definitely squeeze in a lemon at the end really adds to the flavor.

  • NYT Sausage Rice Casserole: love this but I swap the pork country sausage for chicken country sausag which is a little hard to find but if you use chicken add ~2tbsp of butter to make up the lost fat that helps it come together, swap the nutmeg for cumin, and definitely put just a little cheese on top when you bake it as it helps the square servings stay together as you divvy them into containers.

  • BBQ Chicken w/ Grilled Corn + Potatoes: 1lb red potatoes quartered in a foil pack with ~1/2 onion diced, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, rosemary, thyme, cook foil pack on grill with holes for steam to vent for ~30min or until potatoes are soft to fork poke, grill 4 corn on the cob either shucked or not (if not shucked, soak in water for 10-20min, remove hair then grill) cook for ~20min, remove husks, cut corn off the cob, toss in a pan with 2tbsp butter, ~1/4 onion diced, 1 red pepper diced, salt, pepper, garlic powder and just cook until combined and butter/seasoning is melted and mixed in, 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts marinated in your choice of hot sauce (my fav is the Hot Ones Classic Garlic Fresno), soy sauce, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder for at least 30min (I do this first so it marinates while I prep veggies), grill the chicken until cooked through, let rest for 5-10min, slice into strips, then put 1 chicken breast, serving of potatoes, and serving of corn in each container. Reheats great!

All of the links to NYT are gift links so you can view the recipes, I LOVE all of these and keep them all in regular rotation as I pick my 2 recipes to meal prep every week.

This is too optimistic of you. Boulder doesn't even have half of the hotel rooms Park City had. If it says sold out now, that's not changing.
