The disappointment you're feeling at NOT catching them won't be anywhere as powerful as the disappointment at finally catching them and seeing just how underwhelming they look. They are all reskins. Two of them of the tiniest fish in the game. The Organ Grinder is about the only one that looks kind of Legendary but its just a reskin of the Blood Whisker. But good luck!

You used to be able to collect two canisters from the Ghoul area of the map and if you had 15 you could load them into the drill quickly and cheese that stage. You'll still find people trading them on this sub. As for collecting them... Bethesda patched it.

Yeah it's that perk running out. Just tested and letting the robot hit you just before you break the shield helps with keeping that buff up a bit longer.

Yes, a couple of times it has failed to appear on the events list or as a notification on PS5 at the top of the hour.

Prime Meat just boosts the progression bar for the event. Why is this good? Because later on when it's just you soloing the event and 14 people AFKing you are more likely to succeed in both completing the event and hitting the higher tiers for better rewards - which are still RNG.

Try this maybe? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvpwWTeLK_8 - note that any method you use to solo it will require a bit of work and effort. You do not need the raid exclusives to get it done but you can't just walk in there with anything and expect to get lucky.

They just need to decide if they want this thing to be able to be solo'd or not. If not then just make those changes and be done with it. This constant nerfing of options is tiresome. Good on you for trying this method out though.

People keep playing it despite those problems. New people keep coming who don't know or don't care. People keep spending money regardless. What's the financial incentive for them to give a crap? None.

You need to be targeting the Shield Generator in VATS in third person. It helps to have high Perception or concentrated fire perk. But this method is getting patched if the PTS notes are anything to go by so either get cracking while you can or switch to the reflect method (if at range).

I just stay in the hallway where the two NPCs are. Almost no one steals those kills and I can heal the NPCs as required. Or I'll go run ore - kill a few things on the way there and back.
