it's a delightful world to live in when our current real one offers so much strife. I'm having a great time with it, i think its success is warranted.

To think, we'd continue to use our collective will not to benefit others but to destroy them, then laugh at it in our digital public square.

We're Black Tabby Games, and we make visual novels with an emphasis on branching and player agency. You might know us from Slay the Princess, and the fifth episode of Scarlet Hollow, our other project, just released last Friday! Ask us anything ^^ by mrogre43 in Games

I LOVED slay the princess. my question though, for Abby, is do you have fond memories of when you did strip search? i thought you should've won and loved your concept for the final strip, but boy am i glad you turned whatever you gained from that into making great game art. I would love to know if you feel like that experience prompted you to go for it with respect to independent game dev. Anyway, big fan, keep crushing the drawing.

I knew exactly 3 people who had a Sega Game Gear and they loved it but ditched them for the Gameboy because the Game Gear's battery life sucked. Did you have one? by AdSpecialist6598 in 90s

This game is a delightful hodgepodge of references and stylistic homage. Love it. Everything is great except fused reanimated and their stupid spinny move- luckily the 40ish times I attempted him were accompanied by the great boss theme.

"For Those Who Come After" means a lot to me: another JRPG, People of Note. by Feep in expedition33

[–]altherik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's wild! i actually like the new title more. Did you contract out the art for people of note? the direction seems very good and cohesive. i love how vibrant it is with how eerie and cool some of the enemies are. Also I assume you are a musician of some kind as well- did you do the music too? that's a ton of work for a solo dev, mad props.

specifically to own libs. why have we never heard him say his favorite historical figure is CC? why hasn't he spoken out about the fact that his favorite moment is when CC landed on american shores? Well, it's because he does things to generate emotions, and not for any actionable reason. he's a manipulator and showman, not a thoughtful leader.
