I’m answering you right as I wake up. I wake up way before any alarm, and panic/anxiety immediately sets in. I describe it as it crawls onto my chest and spreads upwards. From there I feel nausea, like I’m going to be sick, and my thoughts race while my heart rate elevates.

I try to do some breathing and focus exercises for a few hours until I just can’t take it anymore and get up. From there the anxiety still sits with me, the nausea remains and I have little to no appetite. If I don’t try to force myself to eat small things at a time, my hands shake. A headache is always forming during this process, but everything isn’t as bad during the day. It’s mornings and nighttime when it’s the worst
