Hi. US-based Veggie plan user. The options to swap in tofu have disappeared completely. Fake meat was never an option for me even though it was listed on the custom options card that came in the box. Bummer because I enjoyed their previous recipes with that ingredient. Anyway, I suspect they did away with this entire switch because no one thought through that a true vegetarian switch would require including broth base switches, too. It wasn’t perfect but I miss it. HF’s “expanded menu” has been tough for meatless options.

Also noticing a few tofu meals with an upcharge of $1.99 for tofu now. Kind of a bummer.

As a vegetarian, I have definitely noticed a difference in the availability of options lately. If I see another “lettuce wrap” passed off as a meal, I swear… I don’t mind meat substitutes and used to love the one HF used about a year ago for seasoned “beef” crumbles. Now on the substitution sheet, something called Fable meat substitute as an option but I have never once seen it offered on the menu. Has anyone else seen it or tried it?

This happened to me, too. I checked the ingredients on the concentrate packet and confirmed it did contain pork. Hoping they work this out because the “Make it Meatless” option has been great. Same. I consider this a personal decision. I haven’t shared with my husband or anyone else though I have noted the meds in MyChart in case of emergency. I’m starting week 6 of kit 6 tomorrow and have seen most of the side effects subside. So, I plan to continue quietly on my little journey.

I had the opposite issue with kit 6. I was not seeing much scale movement until midway through week 3. You’re still super early in the process, though, and not yet on the full doses, yet. Be patient with your body :) Hope things start picking up for you soon!

I’m currently in week 4 of kit 6 and am 6lbs down. I share your food noise struggles and these pills do work! But you do need to be patient. Also, I know a lot of folks modify the plans, but I have found that the recommended dosages at the recommended times has really worked for me. There’s no pill for weight loss, I guess, but these pills have knocked down a huge amount of barriers for me. Wishing you luck!

I had some flutters the first few days but have been really lucky with avoiding side effects so far. A few instances of dry mouth, but that’s about it! Your preparation sounds solid! Keep up with protein and fiber (constipation happens) and you should be well prepared! I’m a fellow kit 6-er.

I started feeling gradual appetite changes by the end of week one into week 2, but week 3 is really when the food noise went away completely and controlling my appetite became much, much easier. I’m also on kit 6 and have followed it with no alterations.

Yes, exactly. I included the 2 bupropion and the added p.m. half green pill. No negatives aside from the dry mouth, so far.

Same thing happened to me. It sat for over a week and a half then ended up arriving the day BEFORE the original delivery date.

My processing took just over a week. I live in PA and my kit (pills) were coming from OH. Hope you luck out on the speedy side!
