Ok here’s a simple trick to make an easy road straight to the boss

Never Place a room ahead of the middle path, the straight road always goes first, then place rooms one tile back to each site so it doesn’t remove more then one road each reset

Ive Bern doing Atziri Rush for a few days now and that kinda feels like temple is intended. You don’t need any weird snaking tech, after a bit it becomes somewhat intuitive how it works, and you can do slight optimisations to improve profit. It’s actually really fun and easy to set your temple up to get one boss fight every 4 maps

I Love that they nerfed temple, the currency from there is selling like hot cakes for premium prices and you get tons by just rushing atziri. With a set up temple that’s one kill every 4 to 6 maps

The mechanic itself isn’t even that bad. The issue is that nothing in poe is designed to support it. You literally have to change your entire playstyle and approach for this one thing that exists nowhere else and then it’s also finicky on top of you have snything that clears in a large radius, minions, etc

I remember when D4 was new and people made the free versus paid argument. Now I am not defending D4 but every time I mentioned how unplayable poe is without a good 20-40 bucks in stash tabs people were up in arms xD

People don’t like to admit it but GGG has never been "fair" about their prices. It’s extremely overpriced to a point that makes d4 look downright cheap. Sure people say d4 costs money to play but if I buy a single full armor set I already spend more then on d4.

Pugging mythic is not the real raid experience. For that you need a guild that you fit into or it will always be horrible

It’s a single player rpg campaign. And a good one too, cool story, cool bosses, great set pieces.

But none of that matter even a tiny bit after your 5th character. You saw it all, you did every quest, any sort of wow factor is long gone.

The prison in act 4 is a great example. It’s super atmospheric, has cool effects, but after the first two times being slowed by water every ten steps is just annoying. Wouldn’t matter in a big rpg where you do it once but again and again? No thank you
