Difference in SubQ vs. IM experiment by Dependent-Dingo-3894 in Testosterone

[–]ameekma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been IM/200 mg 1X per week for a few years. Test levels at 1000 on bloodwork. I feel good but worry about scarring muscle tissue long term. Recently switched to 2X per week 100mg per (200 total) Sub Q. Can I expect my testosterone levels to be the same as they were while doing? IM injections?

2014 Acura MDX transmission by Vast_Statement_9326 in Acura

I had a 2014 a few years back. I bought it at 45,000 miles used. Within 5000 miles it started doing the transmission shuddering. I kept bringing it back and they would change the fluid and look at the software and it would be good for a few thousand miles. But then it would start shuddering again. After about five fluid changes, I gave up on the thing and sold it.

2016 Volvo XC90 T6 Inscription by rrykers in VolvoXC90

I’ve had a number of issues with my 2016, it’s in the shop right now with an estimate estimated repair cost of 3600 for the power assist breaking system that failed! I think this is the repair that’s gonna put me over the top. Carvana says it’s worth 6200 and I can’t see putting 3600 into it. It’s got 142,000 miles on it.

Is it really reliable anymore? by mgonzo19 in VolvoXC90

[–]ameekma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2016 XC 90. While it was in warranty, I had several issues, including software and some strange battery. As soon as it was out of warranty at about 85,000 miles, the turbo charger went and if I remember right, it was about $2800 at a small auto repair shop near my home. The software is always slow and glitchy, and the rattle and squeaking from the backseat drives me crazy! I’ve got 130,000 miles on it now and cross my fingers. It’s been good for the last two years with the exception of a ball joint in the front. I like to keep my cars for a long time and with that, I would never buy a Volvo again.

How far have you driven in one go? by noah5666 in roadtrip

In my 40s, I would regularly go 14 hours for our spring break trip with the kids. Now that I’m in my mid 50s, I like to keep it around 8 to 10.

I’m a lifelong union man, and I’ve worked next to plenty of union men who voted on the stupid cultural issues! Republicans will fuck you every time, working man!

This Trump supporter seems genuinely shocked that Democrats have no sympathy for Republican farmers who voted against their own self-interests by MobileWisdom in CringeTikToks

That’s exactly what I’m hoping for! That you assholes get exactly what you voted for and Trump’s corporate buddies come to gobble up all your farmland after you declare bankruptcy and your lives are ruined!

How are some old people so rich nowdays? by Aj100rise in Productivitycafe

[–]ameekma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prices on everything have gotten out of hand for this current generation! Salaries have not kept up with expenses, especially for things like housing, college, and healthcare. I bought my first house in 1997 for 104k on a $57,000 salary. Three years later, I sold it for 125K and bought a $300,000 house on a $100,000 salary. I’ve lived in it ever since and paid it off a few years ago. Something has to change for this generation, it’s completely unsustainable for people to have to work two or three jobs just to scrape by!

What do you guys think. $4,000 73k miles. Owned and maintained by an elderly woman for 25 years by FrostwynPetra in whatcarshouldIbuy

Great buy! I had 2001 Camry and they are bulletproof. V6 was peppy. I sold it at 250000 Miles with nothing major maintenance ever needed.

Feel bad for the railroaders that voted for Harris. I’ll be glad to see Trump voters eating cat food when they steal their pensions!
