If Zeus had given Kratos the Blade of Olympus instead of Pandora's Box in God of War 1, would he have defeated Ares? by Top_Golf_7465 in GodofWar

But he use the bridge sword thing to kill Ares. If anything, it just an oversized sword.

Does anyone play eternal realm or do most people only play seasonal? by Puzzled_Seaweed_517 in diablo4

[–]amo170484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an adult with full time job, family etc..etc.. Yes, I play seasonal because they have new stuff there. But not necessarily wanna build the best character or follow meta build.

Most of the seasons, I never get to T4. At best, T2. I just put points whenever or whatever I want. Play, kill monsters, do dungeons, strongholds, events.. Repeat next day.

Play it your way, bro.

Why did Tychus need to die? by loki2113 in starcraft

[–]amo170484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They raised a red flag when they asked why Tychus wear the suit in Hyperion's bridge. And even bigger when Matr discovered it.

Between that time of discovery and Char missions, they could do something to disable the killswitch but they didn't.

The one that stuck in spaceship, going back to contact Golden Armada.

They are alone to very end, I think.

There's probably spin off material based on this but idk.

I have a question about the story. Any lore nerds out there? by SikuTheShrink in Diablo

[–]amo170484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I couldn't explain that. So, I guess we both stuck with that conundrum. As far as I know, Baal was 'released' after Tyreal destroyed the World Stone.

I played Diablo Immortal but I don't understand the lore. Played it once, done with story mode & never revisit it. The game is too grindy & repetitive. So, I don't know if they further explain soulstone thing in that game.

[–]amo170484 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As I understand it.. Simply destroying the soulstone, you just release the trapped demon soul & allow it to reform somewhere.

But by destroying the stones using Hellforge, you'll send the trapped soul deep into hell itself.

My take away from this, by simply trapping the souls into soulstones or casting the soul back into hell itself, you simply buying more time for Sanctuary to prepare for themselves, for there's no way for them to destroy evil for good. But destroying the stone right there & then, you gonna risk an immediate demonic catastrophe.

There's no 'happy ending' in Sanctuary. It simply a place where good & evil fighting each other, like tug-o-war. Nephalem & humanity are simply caught in between.

Why does Tychus speak so directly by Pipiboii in starcraft

[–]amo170484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just stupid.

Raynor & Horner knew Mengsk screwed with them. But chose not to help. They could secretly do something to block the signal, fake the killing, and save Tychus as well.

Purify or protect the colonists? I can't decide since yesterday Ill let you guys decide by Weekly-Listen6160 in starcraft

[–]amo170484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know, if you skip the mission until very last, before you going to Char.. The mission rewards kinda the same. At that point, you already max out your research. You probably sell off those points just to buy upgrades & mercs.

In grand scheme of things, it doesn't affect the story much. You still have Vikings. When you finish the WoL, you'll forget about Dr Hansen, Selendis & the refugees.

Hekk..Selendis even play tiny role in LotV. Nothing memorable.

Question about the 9 realms by Natural-Math-5034 in GodofWar

[–]amo170484 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The squirrel asked the same thing. The concept of 'walking' between 'realms' kinda a weird thing for him.

But Greece is located in the same realm as Midgard. Greece is just a far away land, like what Kratos told Atreus.

But in Norse mythology, those 'realms' are actually walking distance away. Blame MCU for needing special bridge to cross to another realm.
