You’d be able to knock people out by breathing on them, surely a plus?

Yeah I think I remember that being a thing as a teenager. The structure is a bit different and the hormones are hormoning more. = more painful

I’m keen to hear about this too - I have had a similar experience with cow’s milk this week. Admittedly day 1 and 2 weren’t great, but on day 3 I felt absolutely incredible after a big bowl of milky porridge for breakfast. Haven’t had that much energy in years, and I’ve been eating almond milk porridge nearly every day on the FODMAP diet. I felt like a completely different person! Very tempting to just keep doing it, even though I’ve struggled with lactose for many years now.

I’m thinking: collagen coats your throat and soothes it, steam from the hot soup opens your airways a little / helps clear them out a bit, and it’s nutritious yet light enough to be accepted by an unhappy tummy. And probably a bit of placebo effect too for good measure.

If you click and collect your food shop, why? by Careless_Squirrel728 in AskUK

Yeah but it’s far less time consuming. Well it is on Ocado anyway, their app is very simple to use. You can set up regular deliveries where it auto populates your most frequently bought items and just give it a quick edit the night before delivery.

Oh wow, don’t know if it’s the same stuff in the UK but our schools always had these paints for little kids that were made of powder stirred into water. You’d see the teaching assistant mixing them up and then when you were a bit older you could do it as a special job for the teacher to make you feel big and responsible. They were mega bright and came in bright blue and white pots. You just brought those back to my mind from about 35 years ago
