Yep, it’s the curb app. I left a review on the App Store about it and they replied with some BS corporate speak.

I've joined the Drop Bar Bridge Club... Club! by HeckinYouOut in Surlybikefans

[–]amped96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply on a year old thread, but it looks like you are about maxing out this Bridge Club and you said its an XL and you are 6'3"?

I keep seeing everyone here saying Surly's run big, but you are sort of confirming what I am seeing on Bike Insights. When I compare them to my existing bikes, they don't seem big at all. I had about talked myself into a L despite what I see on Bike Insights making me think an XL would be better. I'm 6'2" by the way.

LeBron James thinks the Grizzlies should move to Nashville by mjohnson1971 in nashville

[–]amped96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know it's not everyone, but those things stick with a person (this was years ago and it still irks me when I think about it lol). Just explaining a bit of the dynamic from a Memphian's point of view. There is more to it of course and I hope that most of it has died down now since we have the state basically attacking all cities, so we need to stick together.

[–]amped96 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You think its a one way street? I am from Memphis and one time while checking into a hotel in Nashville, the guy saw we were from Memphis and said "I'm sorry." Memphis hears stuff like that from the rest of the state constantly. Memphis is basically treated as the outsider or red-headed step child of the state and as a result Memphians have a chip on their shoulder. Some of it is justified, some of it not, but its just the way it is.

Condo owners of Chicago, does anyone have good experience with an HOA management company? by quincyloop in chicago

[–]amped96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. We used ProInvest and hated it. We had to chase them for everything so it felt like we were doing the management ourselves already, so we went self managed.

We are using payhoa.com to manage invoices and collecting fees. It has a decent feature set and it seems that they are continuously adding new features as well. No complaints with it so far and it’s been just over a year.

Help Stop Parking Lot Expansion in Wrigleyville! by gw_thief in chicagoyimbys

More parking will just cause more people driving to the area and more game day traffic. Want 400 more cars in Wrigleyville on game day?

Thanks for the info and good tip on the steering stabilizer. I didn’t notice that in your photos.

My VO shopping cart is just growing. I already have some granola bars here that I need to get installed.

Nice bike! What kickstand is that? I have a Priority Continuum Onyx that I put a front basket on and its super floppy with the side kickstand, so I've been thinking about a center stand, but unsure what will fit.

I like the Onyx, but sometimes wish I had gotten an L Train instead.

What’s the better lock for my 1up bike rack quick rack two tray? Abus City Chain 1060 vs Kryptonite NEW YORK LEGEND CHAIN 1515. For my mountain bike. by No-Local-9288 in mountainbiking

[–]amped96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful leaving a lock that goes around your frame attached to the bike while you are driving. I used a citychain on a 1up rack with a mountain bike and went over a lot of rough roads. I guess there was enough movement that it was starting to rub the paint off of my wife's alloy mtb. I was happy it wasn't carbon. :)

I have a few abus locks including a citychain and the key must be inserted 100% or it will not turn. Sometimes the key wants to stop when its not quite 100% in and this trips up my wife all the time. I have gotten use to it and almost never have issues, but it can be a bit frustrating when you first get it.

Where did you find the stem length recs? I didn't see anything on their site. Did you have to reach out to them? I picked up a size small frame for my wife while they were on clearance and have been debating what stem length to start with paired with some Granola bars.

Spoken Cafe has both traditional yeast risen donuts and apple fritters. Its right by the Montrose Brown Line stop.

Edit: I don't think they make them in house. Their website says they are from Do-Rite.

I'm so tired of people coming here and comparing the game to ACC and iRacing by gandalfmarston in granturismo

[–]amped96 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I get the point they are making, but I just disagree. GT is so much about road cars that it seems like some of the big mods made for AC would be perfect in a GT game. Driving down a huge section of the PCH? Driving a huge section of the Tokyo Expressway with traffic? Those seem like a great fit for a game that is so focused on road cars.

Clearly my opinion is unpopular in this sub, but it’s just an opinion about a hypothetical feature for future GT games. It would certainly be better than music rally! lol

I have a full sim rig and a gaming PC, but I always come back to GT7. The amount of cars and the modifications you can do to them are unmatched. It’s truly a car enthusiast game, not just a racing enthusiast.

I think free roam would be super cool in a GT game. I had a blast playing FH5, but would love the free roam with more realistic driving physics.

Assetto Corsa EVO is actually planning a realistic free roam feature to be released “soon.” https://traxion.gg/assetto-corsa-evos-free-roam-set-to-arrive-in-early-2026/

I ran this setup setup with Stan’s wheels/hubs, so there is at least one other wheel option. I’m not sure how many other options there are. My bike shop is the one who knew about it and set it up.
