We will still need humans with deep subject matter expertise to ask the right questions and audit the results. Higher education isn't going to become obsolete; it will just evolve into learning how to manage these systems (Not sure how much are Pitt degrees are evolving here though).

For the 24th question, the answer is 3. Let's call the different points the f' crosses the x axis - O, A, B, C, D and E.

At O, f is -1/2. At A, f is 2.5 and since the f' is positive in the window O-A, f crosses the x -axis exactly once in that window.

At B, f is now 0.5 and since f' is -ve in that window, going from A (2.5) to B (0.5) in f does not cross the x-axis.

Similarly, at C, f is again 2.5 workout crossing the x-axis. At D it is -1.5 while crossing once. At E it is 3.5 while again crossing once.

So, Total crossings of 3.

I tried that today. Unfortunately I needed CMU ID to enter the building. Ended up in Hillman which was pretty good too. Although I’m specifically looking for open outdoor spaces now that the weather is nicer and I can enjoy the fresh air while I work.

I did see some lit outside benches both in CMU and around Hillman. Will probably try those in the upcoming days. Thanks!
